A decorated mat connected to an electronic module with sound and light effects. When the child puts his/her foot on one of the 4 musical areas, a melody corresponding to an instrument can be heard. When the child puts his or her foot on one of the 4 "instrument " areas, the sound of the instrument can be heard. The 4 Cotoons characters, who each play an instrument, can be moved. Each has a different geometrically shaped base and by learning to place it correctly the child learns to recognise the different shapes. Works with 4 x LR6 batteries (not included). Enters sleep mode after 2 minutes. Printed phthalate-free PVC mat.
..., 4, 5 and 6" .
On the other end is a butterfly which when pulled forward starts the main song to the mat and various other tunes.
In front of the bird tree there are three keys which light up and play "do re mi" in one mode and in music mode play 'Frere Jacques". My daughter loves the light up keys and the fact that they can play music to her touch.
On the actual mat itself there are 5 different animals. Each with the own pressure sensor. You press them and they either tell you what they are and what they do or play music, depending on which mode the mat is set to.
I must admit that now that my daughter is nine months old she appreciates the mat more and she gets much more enjoyment out of it now that she realises that it is HER making the mat work! Ideal if you have to pop to the next room for a few seconds and baby is small enough...

...this was ideal as it encouraged him to crawl up and set off all the different sensors that begin sounds, music and singing. Motion sensors really encouraged him to move as well as the many different sounds set off by touching certain parts of the mat.
When he eventually pulled himself up to the business end of the mat he was fascinated by the rocking bug's and tree which move and jitter when the motion detector is activated and pressing on the light up keyboard also produces songs, notes or sounds. There is a switch that you can change to two different activity levels one for real small babies and one for learning numbers, letters etc my son preferred the funny noises and music and lost interest once he could walk and run. I have told you how my son enjoyed it and now for a more accurate description of what the mat does.

A Great Mat Review ofTiny Love Gymini Super Deluxe - Lights & Musicby
faylisa
Advantages: Multiple textures, colours and sounds Disadvantages: maybe a bit expensive
...I love this activity mat. It is brightly coloured and covered in friendly looking animals. The mat itself has various textures which encourages tummy-play. As well as the colourful hanging toys and animals, there is also a mirror which my son loves. The animals and toys have different textures and activities (eg legs to pull, bells to rattle) and can be moved along the arches. The handy clips also allow you to hang other toys on the arch if you wish. The musical light flowers are a big hit.
It is also very easy to store - simply fold in half, to flat and is secured by two poppers. It is also very easy to disassemble to machine wash the mat.
All in all a perfect item for any baby and one on which they can spend many hours over many, many months....

This product is a Godsend! Especially for people like me with combination skin that tends to get shiny after a while in the T-zone.

My title is taken from a line almost at the start of Beyond The Mat, and it's the common stereotypical view of non-wrestling fans. What sort of a person enjoys a ‘sport’, in which people beat each other up, except they don't really, because... more
Its another dance mat game, you can buy it for around £30 with the mat or £18 without, i believe any other PS2 mat will work fine with it tough.
