Cotswold Company

Cotswold Company are shameless. The thing that bothered me most is that they don't tell you on their website that they can't actually tell you which day is your furniture to be delivered! All they know is that it will be delivered between 3-10 days! So you wait 7 days at home from 9-6pm if you don't want to miss the delivery! I bought two large rugs of the same kind (just different size) and they got delivered in two separate parcels - customer services could not tell me which day parcels would be delivered - I guess they expected me to be at home 7 days from 9am-6pm waiting for their delivery! Will not purchase anything from Cotswold Company anymore. ...

Good products but absolutely appalling delivery times. I ordered 2 items from them in March 08. The first - a chair - took 3 months to arrive. In fairness, I am well pleased with it but cannot, for the life of me, understand why it took so long to deliver. I am still waiting for the second item - a small side table - and have today received an e-mail explaining that it will not be delivered until end-August at the earliest - some 5 months after I placed the original order. My strong advice is don't order from them if you can find what you're looking for elsewhere or unless you're possessed of extraordinary patience. ...

My experience of the Cotswold company was basically teriible. I ordered a piece of furtiture that came in two parts. Long story short after a month the second part still hadn't come. I called them three times and was told 1) that the product was out on the van so I couldnt have a refund. 2) That I would be called back 3) that the sales manager would call me back. None of these things happened. After a month I cancelled the order for the second part ...
...price. I now have half a piece of furniture and a solomn promise that I will never use this company again. Let me finish by describing the quality of the bit of furniture I do have - awful. The quality is poor to say the least, the finish is shoddy. The draws do not slide correctly. The items from this company remind me of items you would find in those low quality southeast asian import shops found in the poor ends of rubbish towns. Just don't. ...

On 1st December I ordered two drawer units, two bedside cabinets (both on a 14 day delivery date) and a storage box (in stock).
