First Defence - it really works!?

Advantages: does what it says on the tin
Disadvantages: Hurts if you administer it wrong!

"First defence" is an interesting concept. A nasal spray that is meant to keep colds at bay. How could that work? There is no cure for the common cold, so logically you can't prevent it either. Other than by eating healthy and staying inside and never having contact with other human beings. But alas, I'm not a hermit, neither are you either in all probability. I'll admit, this another one of those products my wife had bought and stuffed in the cupboard ...

Advantages: OH had a better nights sleep

I thought I would write this review from my point of view rather than my partner (who is the one using them). Strepsils Orange with Vitamin C

Advantages: Soothes your sore throat. Works to fight the infection and numbs the pain
Disadvantages: Some people maybe allergic to some ingredients

Sniff it and see

Advantages: Stops blockages, reduces snot and aids sleep
Disadvantages: Stings a wee bit

Review of Sudafed Decongestant Nasal Spray

Vicks, great again!

Advantages: Excellent effective product, easy to use.
Disadvantages: Price varies greatly, so shop around.

My lovely mother bought me this product during my last case of the flu, but it works especially well for just a simple blocked nose. She purchased the 50g pot for just under £2.50, which i think is a steal for how long it lasts! Vaporub is produced by Vicks, a well known brand and already associated with other very good cold relieving products. The vaporub can be used by children and adults, but i would suggest reading the instructions carefully ...
