I have had the mis pleasure of having got involved with this company recently. My buyer is getting his motgage through HSBC and they insist on this bunch of jokers checking the paperwork after his solicitor has done it all. Then thay charge him £200 for the pleasure. They have asked for the same document three times now over the last three weeks and have been sent it on each occasion.
I have been told by my solicitor that they employ school leavers to check files and they have no idea what they are looking at, so consequently keep sending files back for the same reasons. My buyer is now looking at pulling out due to their incompetence and going into rented accomodation. I have told my solicitor that unless we exchange in the next week then the whole chain is in danger of collapsing. I have asked that this is passed onto CWPL but he told me that even if he passed it on they do not give a s**t, his words not mine.
SO TAKE THIS ADVICE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY OR HSBC AS THEY DRAW YOU IN WITH PROMISES OF LOW RATES AND THEN SCREW YOU OVER WITH INCOMPETENT STAFF WHO TAKE SO LONG YOU COULD LOSE YOUR SALE AND PURCHASE.
