Avoid Parcelnet - you get what you pay for
Advantages: Ugh...none? Disadvantages: Many.

Last Thursday I made an order on TOPSHOP.com. It was standard delivery (3-5 working days) and I was informed that the courier would be parcelnet, which really meant nothing to me at the time. I was given a tracking number and was looking forward to recieving my new dress.
It is now ... ...my tracking information on the parcelnet website my package had been delivered to a 'secure location' on Feb 28th (the previous Saturday).
'Secure location' meant nothing to me. What location? And why? None of my neighbours had come forward with a package for me, and there had been no leaflet left in the porch telling me that they had been unable to deliver. Besides, we were all at home on that Saturday. There was no way we would not have heard ...

Next day? Forget it! I am still waitng!
Advantages: None Disadvantages: Highly unreliable.
The day they were suppose to deliver my cosignment they send it to Liverpool, not London. They called me the day after to say'd they had located it and it would delivered on Friday. However unfortunately I was away for a long weekend, to which their initial response was if they couldn't deliver it Friday, they would have to return it to the sender as don't offer a storage service. After some negoatiation they agreed to re-deliver it on Tuesday, after ... ...property not accessible due to road works, which is totally rubbish! (Perhaps the roadworks are outside his house and he couldn't get out; they are certainly not outside mine!). As such, over 1-week later, I am still without my consignment and they have not called to explain their why they have failed on so many fronts. This was not a difficult, international job. It was parcel going from one part of the UK to another. So how could they get it so ...

parcel deliver took 1 month and content was damaged
Advantages: can't think of any Disadvantages: unreliable, unfair, incompetent customer service
This is the worst company I ever came across. I put an order for a parcel to be sent from the UK to Germany. Because they lost it somewhere on the way and had to locate it again, it took 4 weeks to arrive. But not only that, a lot of the content was also broken. When I filled out their compansation form, I was informed that they pay only a maximum of 50 pounds anyway, no matter how valuable the damaged content was (and mine was much more valuable). ... ...my claim because I had a lamp in that parcel and lamps are not on their list of "no compensation" items - this, they told me, means that it voids all possible claims for the other items in the parcel, even if these other items are not on the "no compensation" list... So, to wrap my experience up, I wil never ever be their customer again and strongly advise anybody else who thinks about sending a parcel with them. ...

Advantages: are you kidding me!! absolutely none! Disadvantages: it really is a gamble if you choose this company to deliver your parcel
...he said was phone the Interlink office and complain to them then. So I phoned the office to see if they could do anything, the manager was just as rude and said that they can't do anything and to contact the company from which I ordered so that they could send out a replacement at their own cost. There was no remorse or even an apology from the delivery guy or the manager, they really did not care that they operated in such a careless and unprofessional ...
