Advantages Advantages Good range of furnishings and electrical products, good customer service

Disadvantages Disadvantages None we have found

When you shop at Courts you are presented with a range of furniture and electrical goods you would be proud to have in your home. From sofas to rugs, carpets to beds, artwork to TVs. Everything is stylish and contemprary and the prices are very reasonable too. We recently purchased a new wide screen TV from Courts on a year's interest free credit option. All we had to do was pit down a deposit and it was delivered to us a couple of weeks leter. (The TV was on very special offer, at a much reduced price-therefore demand was high. Normal delivery would most likely have been much quicker than ... more

Advantages Advantages Good selection reasonable prices

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Customer service

As our disabled son had finally demolished our suite. It was time to consider a Purchase (my wifes' favorite word!). SERVICE After a horrendous episode with MFI, it was a joy to find a high street furniture retailer who actually looked after the customer. After hunting round many furniture stores within Stevenage, looking for a sofa. It was a pleasure to walk in to Courts and receive outstanding customer service from the sales lady. She was courteous, knowledgeable and a good humoured. She gave us enough space to look around, but let us know that she was there is we needed her, which is a welcome change after feeling pressured by sale people in other stores. When we found the sofa we wanted, she sat down ... more

    Advantages Advantages Large selection

Disadvantages Disadvantages They have gone into liquidation

Courts have gone into liquidation. My Brother-in-Law purchased a suite 3 months ago, expecting delivery this week, only to find out that Courts have been forced into administration due to owing the banks £280 million. They paid their deposit by debit card, and it seems that they will not get their deposit refunded. Hopefully the double indemnity protection on the card will refund the money, however, this is'nt guarenteed! If you've purchased any goods from Courts, then it's worth checking with your card issuer about getting a refund. If you have payed in full or paid your deposit by cash, then ... more
