Advantages: free online gaming, great layout, great looks (60gb), lean mean gaming machine Disadvantages: too big, not many decent games yet...
Its the best game console out there if you ask me, the only downside to it is that it doesnt yet have many kick ass games out like the xbox 360 apart from that ps3 is the best you can get. Furthermore if you dont get the 60gb verison then you certainly dont get the best out of it, or your moneys worth to be honest. The 40gb version is made with the cheap accessories such as a plastic grey and dull looking plate rather than the chrome one i know its a small details but for that sorta money your expecting much better things. the 40gb only has 2 controller slots whereas the 60gb has 4. I also heard that japan stopped making 60gb ps3's so its a good idea to get a 60gb while you can! ...
Advantages: cheap price tag, lots of exclusive games, small console, great online Disadvantages: loud, no HDMi cable, pay for online memberships
I always preferred the Xbox over the PS3 for many reasons. For example, the Xbox has all the exclusive games and content to the power and the links that Microsoft have. Also the main reason being that it is much cheaper than a PS3.
The 60GB Premium model comes with an online headset along with a 1 month free membership for Xbox LIVE for customers to have a taster of what it is like, and how much more enjoyable it is with LIVE.
Though, the 60GB hard drive isn't really enough memory for those who download demos and movies over LIVE etc. So if you are willing to put in the extra cash for an Elite, I would go for it. Plus, the Elite prices have dropped by £30, to a £199.99 price tag, only £30 more than a Premium console. However, the HDMi Cable has been scrapped from the Elite bundle.
Another thing that I love about the Xbox, is that it ...
Advantages: Fast, Looks, Everything! Disadvantages: Not anything really... Maybe the disk "Ring" issue. But nothing that major.
This is a review of my Xbox 360 Premium with the 60GB Hard-Disk-Drive. I got this for Christmas last year and its been great ever since. To keep it in good running condition and to prevent "The Red Ring" I only play it about 5 days a week and not for over 1.30 hours. GTA IV is great on it and runs nice and fast and never lags. The 360 looks great and beats the PS3 in my opinion. The other problem with the 360 is that very occasionally it will make a grinding noise and the disk will get a ring round it and will render it unplayble. This happened with my first GTA IV disk. It also happened on my friends 360-Elite with his "Guitar Hero" game. I have never used Xbox-Live on mine but I'm sure its a good feature. I would really reccomend this games console as a console for the serious gamer! There is a lot of good games out ...
