Advantages: Looks great, Great sound. Disadvantages: Very buggy, overpriced.
When I bought my Apple Ipod Classic 80GB I believed I was buying a good quality item which was sold by a large company. However in reality the Ipod Classic 80GB is buggy and unreliable. I suffered many problems with it. When I first plugged in my Ipod it was not recognised by Itunes or Windows, it took many days to sort out this problem.
With an Ipod you are buying the Apple brand, and not a product which is practical or good value. The Ipod Classic still has many connectivity issues which still need to be sorted out. However saying this, the Ipod is still a good looking piece of equipment, sleek design, and tasteful black design.
All in all this is a product which has far too much hype surrounding it and there are cheaper, better working alternatives on the market. ...
Advantages: Big screen, huge memory, durable and cheap Disadvantages: Not as stylish as nano or touch
I own a ipod classic 80gb and it is probably one of the best things i have ever bought. Its durable (doesnt easily break), has a huge memory (both 80gb and 160gb) and has got a nice big screen for watching movies and viewing photos.
Unlike the nano and the touch it has a huge memory so you dont have to cut your music library just to fit it on. Its very durable aswell. I know because ive given mine a really rough time although it still seems to be in really good condition.
It also has a big screen unlike the nano to get the best experiance out of the film you are watching
I think this is a great product and would recomend worth buying plus at such a low price you know who is winning. ...
Advantages: YOUR FAVOURITE MOVIES AND COMPLETE ALBUM COLLECTION IN YOUR POCKET Disadvantages: SOUND LEVEL ON MOVIES NOT GREAT
I bought my Ipod Classic around a month ago to basically be able to carry all my albums round with me at all times and have a couple of my favourite movies to hand if I am ever bored.
I used to have an Ipod Nano and thought that 2 GB of memory would be plenty for what I needed but soon found that I couldn't fit no way near half of my albums on there and had to cherry pick my favourite songs due to there being not enough space available.
Now having 80GB it's surprising how much you can actually fit on it. I currently have around 15 movies, a season of lost and over a 100 albums and am still well under 30GB. It's unbelievable.
Unless you would like to put all your movie collection on to your Ipod then I can definitely assure you that an 80GB capacity would more than cover your requirements.
The Ipod has a great new feature ...
