Advantages: Smells good, and feels refreshing on skin. Disadvantages: Price and didnt make a difference for me.
had received two of them. The booklet that I was given with my other purchases, explained that I should use this in combination with my normal skin routine, after the toner but before the moisturizer as an added boost to my skin, but it can also be used on its own as well.
Upon opening it has a very fresh ocean scent, similar to the Aqua source range. The smell is like that of Coolwater by Davidoff or Oceanus by The Body Shop.
The consistency is that of regular cream and the color is slightly blueish gray.
Application:
I used this after my Biotherm toner and before my Biotherm Aqua source non stop moisturizer. I only used it a few times a week, as I didn't feel it was necessary for everyday use. The 5ml tube lasted for about two weeks as it spreads quite easily.
The creams smells very good and feels quite nice when you apply it, it leaves ...
Advantages: great for gifts, good quality, good customer service Disadvantages: expensive, has a mature iamge
packages nicely presented in baskets, holders and gift bags.
I have not had much experience of the products but I did have a demonstration of their hand scrub and intensive hand care and I was really impressed as my hands felt ultra smooth. I also sampled a toffee cookies and that was rather tasty.
Crabtree and Evelyn for me is strictly a shop for buying gifts. This is partially due to the products as some of them do seem to be old fashioned and I am not keen on floral scents. The other reason is I think the products are quite pricey and would be used for special occasions and treating yourself. A pack of three gift soaps costs £9 whilst a 260 ml bottle of bath essence or shower gel is between £8 and £10.50. However I do not think they are a rip off as they do seem to be very good quality.
The Shop
I liked the shop. It seemed to be ...
Advantages: Lovely products for a gift Disadvantages: Quite expensive
Crabtree and Evelyn are an upmarket beauty products franchise, specialising in natural-based products. With outlets throughout the world, the UK and in department stores, though small, each shop is a fantastic place to wander around, following my nose to the wonderful scents, and of course, looking for the tester pots.
Although prices are on average higher than the high street chain stores, it is worth the expense for a gift or special treat. For example, a bottle of body moisturiser might be around £10, or soaps £5-£10, but the quality is excellent. As it is coming up to Christmas, and I''ve been doing some surfing and window shopping, I've decided to revise my review, or review my review...
The presentation in the shop is quite low-key (natural, not glitzy), and would probably appeal more to customers over the age of about ...
