...of jewels...well this is how Kreate & Make, Newbury's newest Art's and Craft shop makes you feel. You are instantly enthralled by the bright colours, simple yet enchanting displays, and the warm, welcoming atmosphere inside the shop. Situated on 114 Bartholomew Street in the quaint town of Newbury, Kreate & Make opened in April 2008 and have encountered quite reasonable success so far. They are located 2 minutes walk from the bus station, and approximately ...

JUNKBOXJULES GETS CRAFTY IN CHICHESTER

Advantages: A great fun way to spend a rainy day and keep the children entertained
Disadvantages: It can be expensive, especially if there are lots of you

...new shop there called Ceramica, Ceramica is a shop/painting studio where you can paint a plate or piece of china of your choice - as it was my Grandma's birthday at the weekend we decided to visit Ceramica and Jamie would paint her a mug. There are currently only two Ceramica studios, one in Chichester and one in Godalming, Surrey. The Chichester studio is located in the City Centre, at 34 Southgate, Chichester. It is conveniently located for both ...
...to book a place as Ceramica does get very busy, we didn't know that we should have booked but we were lucky as somebody hadn't turned up so we were able to have their space. The studio did get very busy and people turning up without an appointment were requested to come back 2/3 hours later so it is worth booking unless you plan to combine your day with a shopping trip as well. The studio is decorated in bright oranges and yellows and you can find ...

Be Amazed at A Maze of Memories

Advantages: Great staff and stock
Disadvantages: Desire to spend too much money!

...you will know I am a keen Scrapbooker and spend much of my free time on this craft ( when I am not on Dooyoo or Ciao!). There are lots of online craft suppliers but there are relatively few craft shops that you are able to actually visit. I am very lucky to have an absolute gem almost on my doorstep so I thought I would tell everyone about it and there maybe some crafters amongst you that would be able to pay it a visit--you would not regret it (although ...
...Aylesbury. It is in a unit on Woodway farm. This means that the parking is easy and free and you can watch sheep in the fields out of the window whilst waiting for creative inspiration! The craft centre has been recently extended and consists of a large workroom and an extensive shop. The Workroom The craft room has plenty of space and accomodates up to about 20 people at a time. It is always wise to phone and book a "crop" space (scrapbookers ...

Everything under one roof - it will draw you in for hours!

Advantages: Such a wide variety under one roof
Disadvantages: You will be gone for hours and probably spend too much money!

Hobby craft sells everything. Ok, well not everything, but all you will need for your crafting addiction. The first time I came across Hobby Craft was last year when I went in there with a friend who was really into her card making. She showed me all her bits and pieces and what she had made with them and immediately I fell in love – I had to have these too! We went the same day and I ended up spending a fortune. Hobby Crafts are situated mainly ...
...so had to come to Hobby Craft each month to buy it. I make cards and find that there is a large selection of products available to buy for card making. Hobby Craft also sells art materials such as water colour paints, acrylics and canvases. There are also various sketch books available. There is also a childrens section which I find it really bright and colourful and you can buy pom poms, sheets of felt and foam, colouring books and stickers. In ...
