...great enjoyment, i wasn't. With crash being in Spyro's world Vivendi (the creators of both titles) have put one of the most interesting of spins on this game. i hadn't played any of the spyro games before so it was a new, and i have to say, thrilling experience to have the best of both worlds incorporated into one of the most enthusiastic GBA games so far.

This is truly a GBA game to reckon with, having played all its predecessors i was pretty sure what i was in for, but to my surprise and great enjoyment, i wasn't.

Crash and Spyro must team up with each other to discover the identity of the new menace and save the universe from this evil plot!
One of the most exciting aspects of this game, are its multiplayer modes which are exciting as ever and definitely that much better than the old ones. you can go head to head in three way party games, wager games and even card trading! I personally like the card trading as you need all of them to finish the game 100%, and requires a bit of link cable swapping and wagering and are given as rewards for completing some levels and tasks in single mode.
The single game is great when your friends arent about and battling through the seemingly endless mini games will keep you occupied for hours on end. When i first got it all my best GBA games lay dorment in my sock drawer totally ignored, and rightly so too.On the flipside, Spyro in crashes world is also brilliant and to get the ultimate storyline and unlock special content and cards, both games have to be played so it is a bit costly, but well worth it if you got the cash for crash, the dough for spyro and are a keen platform performer.
Excellent GBA game, almost full marks if it wasnt for the price, they should be sold in a double bundle in my opinion.

Crash Bandicoot Fusion, known as Crash Bandicoot Purple: Ripto's Rampage in the US, is the bigger brother of Spyro Fusion. As such, the vast majority of the review applies to Crash Bandicoot Fusion as well. At this point, the more astute/less patient readers out there will have noticed that I've given Crash Fusion a higher rating than Spyro Fusion. Despite consisting of the same basic gameplay, with the same basic flaws, Crash Fusion manages to stave ... ...in Spyro Fusion's minigames, each Crash Fusion minigame has two goals; a primary goal, which must be completed (normally this is reaching the end of a course, or destroying the boss) and a secondary goal, which is optional. This at least gives you a bit more choice over how difficult you want to make the minigames, and there's no "do this or don't progress" feeling. The minigames also offer you more control; whilst in Spyro Fusion you're typically ...
