Crayola Spinaroo Rotating Art Wheel

My little boy got this last year for his 4th birthday, although I think in the main part that this is the type of gift that would appeal to a girl, there is nothing too girly about it (it's not bright pink or anything), and he did ask specifically for this. What is it? Basically it's a small battery powered circular turn table type thing which you clip circles of paper onto, and then using the pens provided or any other type of writing device you can then make patterns. This product in my experience is great fun - tricky to get technique correct - lots of colours to choose from so that each piece of artwork is different. Each circle only takes about a minute to complete so lots of circular paper is needed, which is my only grumbe as it comes with only 5 circles. The only downside i found was the lack of paper - but that can be resolved easily by purchasing packs of 50 18cm circles from Amazon. I searched Spinaroo refill and it came up straightaway. It wasn't obvious from a google search but on the amazon website it was easy to find. It is frustrating that ... more
