Advantages: You'll learn a lot, it's fun, travel in a Trabant Disadvantages: None
In general I am not a fan of guided tours though I have enjoyed some excellent ones during my travels. On the whole I find the behaviour of my fellow tourists quite irritating (see a list of their misdemeanours at the end of this review) and I don't like going at a pace dictated by the guide or the other members of the group. However, when a guided tour is conducted (for the most part) in a Trabant - that iconic fibreglass car of 1960s and 1970s eastern Europe - that's a different matter entirely!
I found CrazyTours when surfing the internet looking for some background reading on the Nowa Huta district of Krakow. (I have reviewed this suburb separately on this site but, briefly, Nowa Huta is a post-war "city" - now really a suburb - that is centred around a massive steelworks, the brainchild of Stalin who wanted to make people in ...
Advantages: Some Very Good Songs and Good New Instruments Disadvantages: The Price
** Price **
Guitar Hero: WorldTour is a rather expensive video game with prices circulating around £159.99. Good places to buy this from are Game, Gamestation and also Argos where you can pay back in 6 months if you have a store card. To find the cheapest price you should use a comparison website.
** What is included **
In the full band pack you get; a guitar, a set of drums, a usb microphone (that you can use for other games like BoogieStar for the Wii and Rockband and also to record audio on a computer) and the actual game itself.
** The songs **
This guitar hero contains some famous bands and singers such as Bon Jovie (Livin' on a prayer), Michael Jackson (Beat It), Oasis (Some Might Say), Ozzy Osbourne (Crazy Train) and Linkin Park. This version of Guitar hero has 25% worth of very good songs while the other 75% have OK songs ...
Advantages: Intersting courses and hole's. Good telescopic golf club peripheral. Disadvantages: Poor game! Lacking in detailed graphics, and fun! Does not pick up movement well!
the simulation mode does not pick up movement well, and you're shots will frustratingly become miss-judged!
But in Arcade mode, loading the swing and pressing the button is as close as this game gets to actually playing golf!
I suppose the only thing this game has going for it is that the golf courses and holes feature quite interesting obstacles, and scenery. But the lack of control you have over the movement and hitting the ball will eventually distract you from this feature!
Although the scenery is quite colourful and makes the game it is still relatively graphically unimpressive. The ball, for example, often appears to be submerged in the ground, and there are times when the ball can pass through objects on the course!
The soundtrack consists of around five tracks which loop and after a while can become annoyingly repetative!
