Arcade conversions are geat fun if they are entertaining. However Crazy Taxi 2 is such an accurate port from arcade to Dreamcast that ot has turned into a heap of frustrating rubbish. Each game lat far too short a time which although ok in an arcade (Money grabbing) is not very entertaining.
If you own the first Crazy Taxi then keep your money in your pocket and avoid this game.
The game consist of driving round a large city picking up passangers in your taxi and taking them to there destinantio as quickly as possible by jumping red lights, driving on the wrong side of the road ( or right side for us brits) , driving across parks and jumping over cars.
The graphics are superb and the sound track is again of a high standard. Personally though I expected a lot more from this sequal . There are a few little sub ga,es to play like a taxi triple jump and taxi golf but apart from that this game is not much of an improvment on the origonal game.
I had a few friends round for a beer the other night and the game was played quite extensively in an enviroment where it was enjoyed but is not for individual games players.
Worth a purchase if you dont have the first crazy taxi .
