Let me tell you a bit about my situation and why i find it so useful. Our computer is homemade, so it's not quite as fast as some of the newer computers. Internet Explorer was sooooooo slow ... ...window open at the same time it really slowed things down. I run tournaments in an online gaming league which requires me to have several windows open at the same time. With Internet Explorer that would mean 3 different applications of IE going at once---very taxing on our computer. Let me tell you a bit about my situation and why i find it so useful. Our computer is homemade, so it's not quite as fast as some of the newer computers. Internet Explorer was sooooooo slow loading and if you had to have more than one window open at the same time it really slowed things down. I run tournaments in an online gaming league which requires me to have several windows open at the same time. With Internet Explorer that would mean 3 different applications of IE going at once---very taxing on our computer. Crazybrowser has a tabbed interface, which means that instead of starting a new application and putting a new thing down on your taskbar it can bring up a new window inside the same browser task. It puts "tabs" at the top like a little filing system that allows you to quickly and easily switch from one window to another.
Another great feature is the Smart pop-up blocker. It automatically blocks pop-ups without any configuration or black list. However, you CAN configure it and add to or delete items from the blocked pup-up list---available under the "Tools" menu. It will also block pop-ups when browser tabs close and that's very handy if you play on Yahoo games. *NOTE* If you play at some game sites (like pogo) it may automatically block the window for the table in 2 player games. To fix this you have to disable the Smart pop-up blocker---"Tools" menu, then "organize pop-up filter".
This browser is easily customizable. Just like with most you can choose a homepage under "options", "internet options". You can choose to have the tabs at the top or bottom, it can automatically delete cookies, temporary internet files, URLs, and much more.
It is set up for multiple search engines as well to make searching the net quick and easy. Just click on the magnifying glass and it will bring up a box on the left. Enter what you're looking for in the search box and then click on which engine you want to use to search. It's set up to search with Google, Yahoo!, Excite, Lycos, AltaVista, Msn, LookSmart, and AskJeeves.
There are many other features for more advanced users like full Windows XP theme support, full support for P3P privacy notifications and zone-based security assignments, and multimedia data loading can be turned on or off with one click.

We have been using this browser for over a year and we're very pleased with it. It's a very quick and easy download and setup. The only disconcerting thing at first is when it opens it gives you a blank window. Simply type an address in the address bar and hit enter. It will open the window and you'll see a light blue "active" tab. If you want to go to another site without closing that window, simply type another address in the bar. It will open the new window next to the other tab. Click on it and you're there!
So, for all of you that are tired of IE or Netscape, or whatever you're using, and want to try something new and get more organized, I recommend you check out crazybrowser. I'll never go back to IE!
Advantages: Free multi window pop-up blocking browser Disadvantages: Can't use IE plug-ins
CrazyBrowser is a powerful web browser that has the ability to open multiple sites inside a single browser window. ""PROS""
- It's totally FREE and takes seconds to download and install even on a 56k dial up connection.
- Just like Internet Explorer, Safari, Mozilla and many others CrazyBrowser is a web browser used to access internet pages/applications.
- Built into the software is a pop-up blocker which is automatically configured, however can ... ...a filter list.
- The software has it's own built in search engines. These can be accessed by typing a search phrase into the address bar and then clicking on one of the search engine buttons. Alternatively for experienced users (or those who read the help files) the search engines can be accessed using keyboard shortcuts, ie, Alt and Enter will take you to google using the search terms entered in the address bar.
- For website developers a nice ...
