Clarins Body Treatment Oil
Review of Clarins Tonic Body Treatment Oil by
profilea2
Advantages: no greasy residue, smells amazing, feels luxurious
Disadvantages: dispensing is messy
I was given a bottle of this oil for my 40th birthday. Given the price it will have to remain a special birthday treat and I don't think I will be buying a replacement when it is finished. It is great on your skin after the bath, really rubs in well with no greasy residue. I particularly like putting it on the my legs after shaving if they feel itchy as it is very sooting. My sister got into when she was pregnant to help prevent strech marks. She ... ...genetic I don't know. It smells absolutely gorgeous, a sort of minty, lemony, herby (no not like a roast chicken) rather than the usual cosmetic floral scent. I don't like to way it dispenses, though. The opening is about 4mm across and you simply pour the oil into your hands. I set a towel on the bed and nestle the open bottle in the folds to prevent is falling over while I quickly apply the oil before it all runs through my fingers. It's a bit ...

Such a devine smell
Review of Decleor Aromessence Essential Balm by
78chocs
Advantages: the devine smell, 100% pure natural ingredients
Disadvantages: None that I can think of or have found
This Decleor Aromessence Essential Balm is really good. I first saw it advertised on QVC. They said to use it at night time as it helps to balance and purify the skin. Well I thought I need all the help I can get as my skin was dull and very dry.
I shopped around on the internet and got the 30ml size for just over £25.00. You might think £25.00 for a pot of cream is expensive, but it isn't. You only need a tiny amount.
When I received it in the ... ...opened it the smell is divine.
The benefit of this balm is that it has no shelf life as it is all 100% pure and lasts a long time (that is of course providing IT ISN'T left in direct heat and or sunlight). You only need the smallest of amount. I use about the size of my little finger nail, walm it up in the tips of my fingers and put on my face, whilst inhaling the 100% pure natural ingredients....wow!
When I woke up the following morning my skin ...

A must-have!
Review of Clarins Total Body Lift by
elfie87
Advantages: You can feel it working, firms, moisturises
Disadvantages: The smell, the price
...bedroom. According to Clarins after 4 weeks of daily use thighs can be up to 3cm thinner and the visible appearance of cellulite can be reduced by up to 38%. These are bold claims, and claims that I am skeptical of. As I do not use it on a daily basis I can neither confirm or deny them, but I can say that my cellulite has not worsened since buying the product. This was my main reason for purchasing it - to avoid it developing and try to stop it from ... ...early stages of cellulite as well as the later stages. This has worked, but whether it would have worsened without the use of the product remains a mystery. Furthermore, I don't think this product should be brought with the word 'cure' in mind, I believe it will help to reduce the appearance (and possibly some causes) of cellulite, but dont expect to be left with no signs at all!
However, now that I have used the product I cant see myself going ...

Hand and Nails - Not Up to Scratch!
Review of Clarins Hand and Nail Treatment Cream by
Spawales
Advantages: Great smell ,easily aborbed
Disadvantages: Costly and not really rich enough to be effective.
...generally a big fan of Clarins and took the opportunity to take a free sample when I purchased some other products. I kept it in my handbag and used it whenever I was out and about, I have to say it absorbs easily and smells great. On the negative side its rather expensive and doesn't seem to spread very far, which means that unlike many of their other products it doesn't represent very good value for money. So on the whole you could buy a supermarket ...

Life saver for dryness
Review of Nivea Soft Intensive Moisturising Creme by
hcs92
Advantages: Moisturises well
Disadvantages: Screw top
This is a really good value cream that i use every day. It soaks in reasonably fast depending on the amount you use and is good for most skin types except oily. You can use it anywhere at all on your body, especially on dry skin areas. The smell is quite nice, but not fragranced, it leaves your skin silky smooth. You can use just a little or sometimes i like to It's available in different sizes so i will be taking smaller pots with me on holiday. ... ...that it's in a screw top tub so you have to put cream on the back of your hand and rub it in once you have closed the tub (not a very difficult thing to do but hopefully they will produce a dispensing tub soon) It's not expensive and is a great staple of my beauty routine. ...
