Stamp out smelly feet
Review of Avon Footworks Aerosol Foot Spray by lynsey82

Advantages: Eliminates odours
Disadvantages: none

Avon's footworks odour neutralising aerosol foot spray, is a breath of fresh air for your feet. Even if you don't usually suffer from smelly feet, you will at some time want to freshen up - say if you've been walking all day, or wearing particular shoes which make feet smell. The spray is like a deodorant, except for feet. It can be sprayed on to bare feet (this works best) or onto socks/tights. The menthol smell helps prevent odours reoccuring ...
...your feet cool and tingly, which is a nice sensation. The smell can be quite overpowering if you spray a lot - so learn from experience! It doesn't make your feet damp, so there is no worry about an uncomfortable feeling, and it dries almost instantly. At a regular price of £3.50 for a 75ml aerosol, it is fairly pricey, and the plain blue and white bland packaging doesn't make it jump off the page. As with all products,it is quite often availiable ... Read review

Hand and Nails - Not Up to Scratch!
Review of Clarins Hand and Nail Treatment Cream by Spawales

Advantages: Great smell ,easily aborbed
Disadvantages: Costly and not really rich enough to be effective.

...generally a big fan of Clarins and took the opportunity to take a free sample when I purchased some other products. I kept it in my handbag and used it whenever I was out and about, I have to say it absorbs easily and smells great. On the negative side its rather expensive and doesn't seem to spread very far, which means that unlike many of their other products it doesn't represent very good value for money. So on the whole you could buy a supermarket ... Read review

Life saver for dryness
Review of Nivea Soft Intensive Moisturising Creme by hcs92

Advantages: Moisturises well
Disadvantages: Screw top

This is a really good value cream that i use every day. It soaks in reasonably fast depending on the amount you use and is good for most skin types except oily. You can use it anywhere at all on your body, especially on dry skin areas. The smell is quite nice, but not fragranced, it leaves your skin silky smooth. You can use just a little or sometimes i like to It's available in different sizes so i will be taking smaller pots with me on holiday. ...
...that it's in a screw top tub so you have to put cream on the back of your hand and rub it in once you have closed the tub (not a very difficult thing to do but hopefully they will produce a dispensing tub soon) It's not expensive and is a great staple of my beauty routine. ... Read review

Compeed Blister Plasters
Review of Compeed Blister Plasters by raeknox63

Advantages: They work, they stick, they do exactly what it says on the packet
Disadvantages: Only come in boxes of 5; quite expensive

...to get more of the Compeed plasters. They come in a very handy container, are relatively easily to apply - once you get the hang of things - and, most importantly, they stick!! Price wise, they were about middle of the road, comparing them to other brands of blister plasters, but I managed to get them on special offer in Superdrug. I've only been able to get them in packs of 5, so they are working out at not much under £1 for each plaster, but ...
...thing I would watch out for is that the instructions say you should wait for the pladter to fall off - this I do not recommend! They are so sticky, that can take some considerable time, and the blisters and broken skin below start to smell very unpleasant. I suggest you keep an eye on them! ... Read review

Pepper feet?
Review of Lush Pied de Pepper Foot Cream by catsholiday

Advantages: All natural, not tested on animals and works
Disadvantages: strong smell may not be to everone's taste

This wonderful product is all natural and not tested on animals and smells really strong - a mixture of clove, and cinnamon are the strongest . So those that don't like cloves will hate this. It is bought in a small back recyclable pot ( take 5 back and you get a fee face pack) for £4.95 for 100g I think. I find it keeps my feet soft and able to cope with a day on my feet but as a bonus they still smell of Pied de Pepper at the end of the day. I love ... Read review
