...so I gave in to Lush and brought a tub of Dream Cream. Within a day there was a noticebale difference, the itchy was soothed and the dry skin softened and smoothed. I now use it everyday on feet to keep the excema at bay! Admittedly i was really put off by the smell because lavender tends to give me headaches however the scent is sutble and not a strong overpowering lavender scent. Lush do not test on animals, so by purchasing this over another cream, you are not supporting the practise, the product is also made with fresh, natural ingredients which is most certainly a bonus. "Sympathy for the Skin" comes in a 240g no frills style pot. The experiation date is around a year, so you will have plenty of time to use your product before it goes 'off', unlike some other lush products that I have had to throw ...
...and creamy. As with most lush products, the smell is just gorgeous-a light vanilla scent. The cream is easily applied, and seems to absorb into the skin fairly quickly at first, although does leave a sort of 'shine' for about five minutes afterwards. I was a little dissapointed in that the cream also sometimes leaves small black specks on your skin, which I found looks a little unsightly, especially if you have just spent a while showering etc before ... This is a fab body lotion, as long as you like scented products, because boy does this smell strong! It claims to smell of carnations but I wouldn't know what they smell like, however I do really like this scent as its from natural essential oils. The body lotion does appear to be fairly greasy on first application, but you soon notice it sinks in fast and does actually moisturise your skin, unlike a lot of other creams, so it does work. ...I went into lush and they advised me on this particular product, the staff are always very helpful. i got a 100g pot and it cost £3.95. The cream comes in a small black pot. i wouldnt advise you to keep it in your handbag because it is quite bulky but i suppose it depends on how big your bag is. its a tub that you just stick your fingers in and get some cream out.
