I loved this cream
Review of Clarins Extra Firming Day Cream, all types by
lona
Advantages: Lovely rich creamy consistancy
Disadvantages: Clarins have discontinued it
...signs of ageing.
This Clarins day cream helps to minimise the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles on the face.
Helps to restore youthful elasticity to the skin.
Smoothes dry areas and rough patches on the face.
All of these extra firming day creams help to protect against the ageing effects of pollution.
Refines the face contour area to enhance the jaw line.
These day creams also help the application of makeup to mature skins and increase ... ...rich and great absorbancy.
Clarins have chosen to discontinue this cream and I can only find Super Restorative Cream in stores now which I don't find as good.
You can still buy it online or from Sainsburys but beware that you are not buying out of date products.
It used to sell for over £45 ...

Hand and Nails - Not Up to Scratch!
Review of Clarins Hand and Nail Treatment Cream by
Spawales
Advantages: Great smell ,easily aborbed
Disadvantages: Costly and not really rich enough to be effective.
...generally a big fan of Clarins and took the opportunity to take a free sample when I purchased some other products. I kept it in my handbag and used it whenever I was out and about, I have to say it absorbs easily and smells great. On the negative side its rather expensive and doesn't seem to spread very far, which means that unlike many of their other products it doesn't represent very good value for money. So on the whole you could buy a supermarket ...

Clarins Body Treatment Oil
Review of Clarins Tonic Body Treatment Oil by
profilea2
Advantages: no greasy residue, smells amazing, feels luxurious
Disadvantages: dispensing is messy
I was given a bottle of this oil for my 40th birthday. Given the price it will have to remain a special birthday treat and I don't think I will be buying a replacement when it is finished. It is great on your skin after the bath, really rubs in well with no greasy residue. I particularly like putting it on the my legs after shaving if they feel itchy as it is very sooting. My sister got into when she was pregnant to help prevent strech marks. She ... ...genetic I don't know. It smells absolutely gorgeous, a sort of minty, lemony, herby (no not like a roast chicken) rather than the usual cosmetic floral scent. I don't like to way it dispenses, though. The opening is about 4mm across and you simply pour the oil into your hands. I set a towel on the bed and nestle the open bottle in the folds to prevent is falling over while I quickly apply the oil before it all runs through my fingers. It's a bit ...

Compeed Blister Plasters
Review of Compeed Blister Plasters by
raeknox63
Advantages: They work, they stick, they do exactly what it says on the packet
Disadvantages: Only come in boxes of 5; quite expensive
...to get more of the Compeed plasters. They come in a very handy container, are relatively easily to apply - once you get the hang of things - and, most importantly, they stick!!
Price wise, they were about middle of the road, comparing them to other brands of blister plasters, but I managed to get them on special offer in Superdrug.
I've only been able to get them in packs of 5, so they are working out at not much under £1 for each plaster, but ... ...thing I would watch out for is that the instructions say you should wait for the pladter to fall off - this I do not recommend! They are so sticky, that can take some considerable time, and the blisters and broken skin below start to smell very unpleasant. I suggest you keep an eye on them! ...

Such a devine smell
Review of Decleor Aromessence Essential Balm by
78chocs
Advantages: the devine smell, 100% pure natural ingredients
Disadvantages: None that I can think of or have found
This Decleor Aromessence Essential Balm is really good. I first saw it advertised on QVC. They said to use it at night time as it helps to balance and purify the skin. Well I thought I need all the help I can get as my skin was dull and very dry.
I shopped around on the internet and got the 30ml size for just over £25.00. You might think £25.00 for a pot of cream is expensive, but it isn't. You only need a tiny amount.
When I received it in the ... ...opened it the smell is divine.
The benefit of this balm is that it has no shelf life as it is all 100% pure and lasts a long time (that is of course providing IT ISN'T left in direct heat and or sunlight). You only need the smallest of amount. I use about the size of my little finger nail, walm it up in the tips of my fingers and put on my face, whilst inhaling the 100% pure natural ingredients....wow!
When I woke up the following morning my skin ...
