Creative 3D Blaster Riva TNT2 M64

The TNT range was always pitted against the more popular voodoo range of cards all the way to the Voodoo 3. The TNT range provided an alternative and often the cheaper option for most people. Nvidia released this version of the card after the Ultra version. The TNT2 Ultra was a great card but it fizzled out when the Geforce card out. Now Nvidia are selling the TNT 2 M64. A couple of months ago I bought one of the Creative MPEG decoders with the RealMagic Hollywood Riva II chip set (for around £55) and I have never looked back, great picture both through TV out and to monitor. It does not take up much processor time which is good and one the best odd ons i have ever seen is the remote you can buy from the RealMagic website, its only about £20 inc shipping from the states and it saves you getting up every 5 mins and struggling through menus. When I was in the process of upgrading my computer I desperatly needed a graphics card with 16mb or 32mb of onboard memory on a PCI bus. This is the only card I found that had 32mb and a PCI bus. I was close to gettin a Voodoo3 16mb, both around £70, I opted for the creative labs 3D blaster TNT2 and my choice was a good one. I now have stunning graphics and perfect gameplay on all the games I wish to play, games like Euro 2000, Driver and The sims all work perfectly with no jerking or slow-down. When I was looking for a graphics card I was torn between 3DFX and a Creative card. In the end I went with Crerative as the price was more affordable, also the PCI card that I was looking at had a better specification than the other card. When I got the card home I wanted to get the card in right away and o proceded to do so. I soon hit problems so I phoned the help desk. The initial reason why I bought this graphics card was because of the reasonable price of the card compared the the specification of the card. This card has 32MB of on board RAM which is the best that I had found at the time for a PCI graphics card. When I got the card I found it very easy to install and found that within five minutes I had the card working with the games which could use its 3D capability.
