...I bought my Creative Live Notebook Cam on Amazon for a very reasonable £15.26 and with the super saver option I had no postage and packing to pay. I didn’t need a big fancy looking cam with all the super duper mods and cons, I just wanted a cam to be a cam. I had toyed with several other models, but after much deliberation came down on the side of this.
One of the main reasons apart from the fact that it looks pretty good, was the manufacturer. I have had a few other Creative items and have never had any problems with either installation or use. There were a couple of Microsoft one’s I fancied but as per usual they priced themselves out of my market. The specs on the Microsoft model were slightly better but the cost was more than three times.
The neat black looking cam comes as do a lot...

Advantages: Inexpensive and fairly compact Disadvantages: Silly claims on the box. Probably not sufficiently true for the serious user
...Until recently, I've not needed speakers for my computer here at work. I had earphones (not improbably loose ones) for those rare occasions I needed sound, and the company we shared offices with always had their music playing (some of which was truly odd, but that's another story).

My taste in music is esoteric. I like folk, rock, folk rock (see a trend developing here?), prog rock...

Advantages: Good sound, optical connections, complete bundle Disadvantages: A bit light, stereo only via analogue
...(possibly too light - you have to hold it down with one hand to insert the headphones) and does the job admirably. If you want to upgrade your existing soundcard or have one that is playing up and you want an easy way to get something working then you should strongly consider the Connect. The main outputs are stereo only which may put off a hardened gamer or a DVD fan wanting multi-channel surround sound but for many people this will be a great device at a great price. Creative’s bumper bundle of audio software makes this a highly recommended upgrade for laptop users and even something some desktop users may want to invest in. Best of all, it's been around a couple of years now so can be picked up at bargain prices....
