CreativeEP-630
I have recently tried creativeEP-630 and it cost a quarter of a similar pair of Bose phones that I'd normally go for. Ordering from their website couldn't be easier and the site is locked for security of payments.
The ear pads are rubber and far more comfortable to the ears. The design is by far more ergonomically and causes less stress to the ears.
The sound is by far the real selling point however and is a stunning and enhanced listening pleasure. The volume on my MP3 is extraordinarily loud but the quality does not fall away and wobble/ scratchiness are simply not there, even at full volume.
The bass tones are very deep and you made need to lighten them up with a little more treble. The sound in general is very crisp.
The cord is very long which is a bonus as I run on road and on the treadmill ...

Advantages: good noise isolation, very strong base, no distortion, doesn't leak sound Disadvantages: feels too fragile
to be put below normal on the mp3 player sometimes as these headphones are loud. They also do not leak sound a lot, so your music is not advertised to the public!
In some days where I feel I do not want bass, I just turn the equaliser settings down so the headphones become ?tame.? you do however get used to the strong bass and the ?in your head? feel of the headphones.
You do however get the sound of the cords rubbing together when you move a lot with these on, almost like a stethoscope, but I suppose that cannot be avoided.
I would give it 4.5 starts and not 5 because the first pair I had stopped working on one side around 8 months after I bought them. I got these replaced by creative themselves which was a relatively quick process. Also fine ear wax sometimes gets caught on the mesh of the driver, but it can be removed. ...

They are my 9th pair of earphones I had lately. Have to admit that they are the best I have ever had in my life. Obviously you can find better but not for that price range or design.
