...Time began with the old creative soundcard, which I remember and at that point in time they where the best around.
This card has the original features with a hell of a lot of upgrades to it. The added feature with this card is that you have a firewire port on the main part of the card and the extra feature of the normal game port on a separate slot which can be attached to the card.
The card is excellent for any use. I have one of these and use it for music and gaming. If you have the right speakers attached, you will have full use of the card. I would reccomnd either:
Creative LabsInspire 5.1 6pc 5700 Speakers
Creative LabsInspire 5.1 6pc P580 5 speaker system
or
Creative Labs Megaworks 5.1 6pc THX 550
These are the best speaker and are excellent for gaming and music.
The software/feature from the old cards (ie 5.1, 1024...

Advantages: Good price, good sound quality, easy to use. Disadvantages: Ovbiously not as good as 5.1 surroung.
...My laptops own speakers are really rubbish, and I needed a set of speakers for listening to music and dvd's on. I went for the CreativeInspire 280 PC multimedia speakers becuase they compared well (price wise) with other similar items and a number of people had recommended creative speakers to me as being good value for money.
The speakers were packages pretty simply, and are extremely easy to use/set up, as they are plug and play. The wires are all good lengths, so you can use them even if the plug point is quite far away from your computer, and they are light enough to take with you if you're travelling. The volume control (situated on the side of one of the speakers) isn't too sensitive, so it's easy to adjust, and the same is true of the tone control.
The sound quality is very good, with little/no hiss or crackle...

Great Sound Review ofCreativeInspire T3030by
scorpioncbr
Advantages: Great Sound quality for a low price Disadvantages: bass control not on remote
...I bought the CreativeInspire T3030 speaker system just the other day and i must say it works wonderfuly. The sound is very clear, and the bassbost really rumbles. I use it primarily for my Creative ZEN and i must say it's a very good stereo system. Due to it's reduced dimensions you can place it just about anywhere, the wires which go from the speakers to the bass are long enough to place them far apart to maxmise sound experiance.
As i said they are very portable and great when you attach them to other devices such as a computer where you'll be able to hear the videogame noises on a whole new level. You can control the bass level from the bass itself and the general volume from a mini remote attached to the bass, wicht is also easy to access du to the longer wire connecting it.
Assembly is very easy and takes no time whatsoever, once...

I can't believe no-one's reviewed them yet, either no-one else has bought them or they simply haven't had time because these speakers are immense!
