I shopped around for ages before I decieded to get this Mp3 player, and I chose it more for its looks and its memory size than anything else. I did not want to get an Ipod, as everyone else has one, and besides, I think this looks better, and more user friendly.
Once I opened the box, and installed the software on to the PC, I was engrossed for hours in putting my CD collection onto it. The software is very easy to use, just click and drag the tunes you want onto the player, and with the USB allowing 1 song per second to be transfered, it did not take long to have filled 5 gigabytes.
When I use it, which is everyday now, it is very easy to use, with the buttons on the side working in the same way that the old walkman used to work - play, pause, skip track etc. The screen display is also excellent, and you can easily see the track details when you need to. The pouch you get with this player is also well designed, and allows you to access all the part you need to on the player (buttons, screen), and keeps the player in great condition. I think without this cover, it would scratch easily.
I have had the player for a year or so now, and I have had no problems with it at all, apart from the headphones that came with it died a week ago, which is okay, considering the amount of use I got out of them. The sound quality of the player is also surprisingly good, and tracks I listened to all the time when I was younger, sound better now than they ever did. I am even surpised at how much of the music you can hear, which is on par with my seperates system at home (Hi-Fi)
I paid just under £150 for this player, and it has been well worth it. I have so far only filled it with 12GB, which is about 2500 tracks, so there is plenty of room for more tracks.
If you are serious about getting a decent Mp3 player, check this out. Its reliable, easy to use, and looks great.
