Creative Jukebox Zen Xtra 60 GB

This is my first my first mp3 player and I am very please with this buy and I have no regrets about this product

Sound quality:

Well what can I say the sound quality on this baby is amazing when I uploaded my first song and listened to it I was blown I could hear every thing from drums fading to the artist whispering lyrics some thing you cant really do with speaker unless you have you music cracked to the max.

Ease of use:

This has got to be one of the simplest Mp3 players have tried many of my friends have mp3 players and this one is very straightforward. You have you a little wheel thing on the top right this allows you to select the different options, categories and artists. It is at a bit fiddly at first but with in 10 min you will have mastered it.

Look and Design:

The Zen Xtra I would have to admit does not look too great this is not really one to show off. The design is simple nothing much to comment here.

Instruction

Well i am the kinda guy who throws the instructions book as soon as I open what ever I get. I really don’t think you need one it is very simple to learn.

Range of Features

Well the Zen Xtra has loads of features some of these are the different play modes: normal, repeart track, repeat all, shuffle, shuffle repeat and track once.

It has a really feature called Eax Audio this let you manipulate songs you can do such cool things suck as slow down the time scale this will not interfere with the sound what so ever so if there as a rapper that raps to fast for you can slow it down so you can catch his/her every single word. This also comes in handy if you want to practice a song while playing your guitar.

Under the EAX Audio mode you can chose many different environments such as Theatre, garage, Bathroom, Opera Room, Jazz club I am not sure why they included these option but it cool when your bored to listen to the different sound effects.

Specialization is also another really feature this also you to change the sound output to narrow, wide and full.

Smart Volume is really smart this cool feature this always keep a song at a constant volume so there wont be any variation in the volume this is handy when your chilling out and you don’t want really loud parts of a song to catch you of guard if you are the jumpy kinda type.

Advanced EQ will allow you to pick up various bit of a song more than others. Its options are acoustic, classical, disco, jazz new age, pop, rock and vocal. So if your only interested in the Vocal part of the song set it on the Vocal option and the Mp3 will make the vocals more clearer than the rest of the song.

Also another handy thing is that this mp3 also acts like flash Memory so you can store text files, pictures and software that you might want to upload of a diffrent pc.

Durability

Well no matter how careful we try to be with our portable stuff there will come a time when we will drop at least once. I will have to admit i am very careless with my items I have dropped my Zen more then 10 times and I even dropped it on road I couple of times and guess what? My Zen Xtra is still alive thank god. The Zen Xtra is one well built Mp3 player unlike the ipod I know two of my friends who dropped there ipods when it made contact with the ground it broke into a million prices and stop functioning.

Value for money

The Zen Xtra series comes in different capacities as far as I know there are the 20, 30, 40, and 60 gig Zen Xtra's. They are one of the cheapest Mp3 players on the market. I would highly recommend buying one of these babies but these are defiantly not for showing off, using while play a sport. If you just want to listen to music and nothing else this is a very good buy.
