Advantages: Small, Light, Same storage as an Ipod-Mini Disadvantages: Small Screen, Can be awkward to navigate
Just before the Ipod Mini came out, I was looking at buying an MP3 player, and decided upon a 4GBCreativeMuVo2. I bought it just under a year ago, second hand for £140 on ebay.
The unit is very compact and light, and comes with a nice carry case with belt clip. The 4GB is not enough storage for an entire music collection, but it is more than enough space to keep you entertained for a good amount of time. The sound quality is perfectly acceptable for an MP3 player with in-ear headphones (especially seeing as a lot of the sound quality of an MP3 depends upon the compression of the MP3 itself)
One of the main advantages with the unit is that it is effectively a removable hard disk that has the ability to play music files. It will be recognised by any PC running Windows XP without the need for drivers, and music can be uploaded ...
Advantages: Small, light and has a blue backscreen. Disadvantages: Hard to navigate songs, doesn't come with remote, battery life.
In the world of portable MP3 players we once had only a small choice of players, and they had only a few sizes available. 32MB, 64MB, 128MB or 256MB. They may or may not have upgradable functions and they costed a mint.
But now we have bigger and better MP3 players such as the Creative Muvo2 4GB with 4,000MB storage. No need for upgrades anymore, there's more than enough space for a few albums and a documentary on fish fingers.
Yes this Muvo2 has the capacity and it is small, smaller than it's rival the IPOD Mini in fact and lighter too. It can play WMA files as well as MP3 files and has a very nice neon electric blue backlight for it's screen.
The Muvo2 comes with 2 USB2 cables (1 long 1 short) so that songs can be transferred from PC to the player. Since it is USB2 the speed of transfer is very very fast. Before you would make ...

>A 'lock' fuction
>A Backlight (which you can set to stay on for different periods of time)
>An Equalizer
>A skip folder (to have songs stored on the player but not to listen to them)
>An in-built radio
>And perhaps best of all, an independant delete fuction on the player itself.
In my own experience, the radio and the independant delete fuction are the most rare amoung most modern MP3 players and I believe would be a major attraction to those thinking of purchasing this product. Most modern media players, in my own experience, must be plugged into a computer to be able to modify their contents. I therefore highly recommend the CreativeMuVo to anyone who needs a media player than can be independant from a computer (such as people who travel often). The fact that it relies on AAA batteries rather than needing to be ...
