Pros: First things first: This model is basically a usb-pen. This makes it fantastic for uploading tracks, you just plug it straight in. This might not sound like much but trust me it can be very annoying if you have to fiddle around with wires at the back of your computer (like you have to do with an I-pod). Another great thing about this is that you can just use as a USB-pen. I store Word/acrobat files on mine and its fine. Very handy, your MP3 and USB in one. This thing can take a bit of damage. Mine got thrown down the stairs and didnt get a scratch. It's beacuse the TX is so light.
Cons: But the small memory is a problem. If you're like me you pretty much just download anything that takes your fancy. This is fine if you've got about a 1G or anything more than that. But you'd be surprised how quickly you can reach 128 MB. Take my advice and look for a slightly different model, with a larger memory. Most Creatives have the USB port design but some have bigger memories. 1G is what I'd suggest, that'll hold what you got (unless youre planning to hold 1000 plus files). Also this model is like an I-pod shuffle, you have to go through all of your songs one bye one. Ok if you have 30, annoying if you have 100. This model boasts a voice recorder, which sounds pretty nifty. But when you think about it's pretty silly. I've used mine once or twice but the quality is pretty bad. If you want a voice recorder then it's your lucky day but personally I think it's a pointless feature. The volume is quite annoying: If youre anywhere loud it can be a real struggle to hear anything. Buy head phones with built in volume amplifier, they cost about the same as normal headpones. (If you dont know what these are look for headphones with a sliding button halfway down the wire.)
All in all: If you don't need much memory then buy this now! If you need slightly bigger memory look for another Creative with 1G plus. The design is fantastically useful and handy, you can keep whatever you like on it. If you plan to have more than 200 songs I'd seriously recommend an I-pod or an MP3 player which allows you to sort your songs into categories and find songs easily. Also: Shop around there is ALWAYS a creative at a lower price. Try European companies. It'll take three days or so longer to ship but it might be up to twenty pounds cheaper.
