This model can carry around 30 tracks in MP3 format but if you want more tracks to fit on, you can use the included software to be able to fit around 60 tracks in WMA format and it also gets compressed.
When you start your MP3 player, you immediately start with your playlisted songs that is stored onto the product. You can hear them or if you want to skip to another track you can skip with the switch next to the volume buttons. If you hold the switch to the left, you rewind the track and vice versa if you hold it to the right. Press the switch in, you get a menu.
When you are in the menu, you can change the play mode. You can repeat songs, shuffle (randomise) tracks within a folder or not. There is alo an EQ mode which can boost your bass or change how you can hear the music according to their style. Their are presets such as rock, jazz, classical, pop or even custom the EQ. This is great to make the music come out with more quality. You can also delete songs within your playlist or even the voice recordings made (more on that in a minute) and also have the usual settings found on the MP3 players such as LCD orientation, backlight timer, contrasting, language, idle shutdown timer, and information on the product.
The most useful function found on the MP3 player is the lock function. When this is in use, the lock function prevents any accidental button presses when listening to the MP3 player. Whis is useful when you are out walking, running or cycling.
Another good function found is a voice function, meaning you can record you or the surroundings. If you have no music on your player, you can record up to 8 HOURS of voice recordings, but this goes down in time when you start to store your music on. However, this is a very useful function if you want to remember anything important or even just for fun.
SOUND
The sound quality is outstanding, the quality is so amazing that you cannot tell the difference with the lowest quality MP3 tracks or high quality MP3 quality tracks. The sound is so clear and you can even customise the sounds to make it even better!
LOOKS AND DESIGN OF PRODUCT
You cannot fault the design at all. It is easily accessible and very easy to use. The MP3 player comes in two parts which is a battery pack where you place your MP3 player in and use it to listen whilst on the move and also the MP3 player itself. The player has a fitted USB port so you can easily plug the MP3 player in the computer and then use it to transfer files within a matter of seconds. It is superb. The buttons are good to use as they don't stick and the use of the switch to skip to a track is great as well as pressing in for the menu.
INCLUDED SOFTWARE / KIT
The MP3 player comes with a software disc which has Creative MediaSource included as well as the drivers for your MP3 player to be installed.

You also find included some earphones and these are very good quality earphones. The sound you will hear is brilliant through using this.
You also find a case to place your MP3 player in and also have a band to fit it on around your arm. Very useful for when being on the move.
BATTERY LIFE
The MP3 player supports AAA batteries. These batteries will last 15 hours when in use and this is very good when you want to listen in long distance travel.
VERDICT This is the ultimate MP3 player you ought to get because you won't find a fault with it at all. A great MP3 player for those who are on a tight budget and cannot afford to buy an iPod. I recommend everyone to get this!

I love it! It's now as important as my mobile phone, I love to be able to walk into the supermarket listening to my music and it's really ideal for long journeys when the family's choice of CD really doesn't suit you. I have found it incredibly easy to use. To load tracks onto the player or delete them, you have to slide one part from another and 'plug' in the USB part- I would liken it to a USB stick. The software that comes with the player was ... ...from the CD to the software, there is the option (if online) for all the details to be typed in for you, which I must say has been very helpful to me- otherwise I would have been stuck for days typing all my albums out! I've been able to put 64 tracks on it, so you can have a wide range of different music genres to suit your mood when playing it. Advantages: One of the most amazing mp3 players i have ever owned Disadvantages: No Radio
...player as a replacement for creative muvo 64mb player, (the storage on the 64mb player just wasn't sufficient for my needs). This 512mb player can store pleanty of songs and play them without jumping tracks; this is due to its solid state memory (meaning there are no moving parts which can physically jump out of place). The player is perfect for running/gym as its small enough to comfortabley hold in your hand while exercising. It comes with an armband ... ...want to hold it.
I did have an issue with the player crashing and not turning on. This however i resolved by going to creative's website and upgraded the players firmware (which have have to say was very easy)

-with a firmware update it can support up to 3 folder of data
-bright backlight
-great battery life which you can expand if you get NiMH batteries (around 25hours of battery life)

I got this MP3 player a couple of years ago as my 13th birthday present. It was sufficient for me as my music collection wasn't too big. I managed to fit 120 songs on, enough for me!
I found it so easy to use. It has all the necessary functions as well as other features to change the sound quality and the style. The backlight was great to see the display in the dark and I was happy to have a lanyard thing so I could have the MP3 player around my ... ...pocket all the time. The earphones didn't last long for me, so I exchanged them with some from Poundland which have lasted over a year.
The thing I like the most about the MP3 player is the fact it's a USB stick and you simply have to drag and drop your music files onto the system instead of having to mess around with iTunes and cables. The battery set-up is great too, just one AAA battery which lasts for hours (mine lasted a whole 24 hours ) and ...

In my personal opinion I think the Creative Muvo really does provide the average user with all they require even though it only has 512mb storage it is ample for most peoples needs. Its definately worth the money.

Well, what can I say. I've had it for over a year and I've had nothing but problems. From the first day I had it, it had decided not to play WMA, or WMA-DRM protected music files (even though the packaging specifically highlighted this feature), and it would only play my mp3's for a short amount of time before the battery ran out.
'Well, it must just have been my product', I thought to myself. SO I was onto creative tech support immediately. Although I received a speedy reply, it was not a very helpful one.
They insisted that I should update the firmware, but even still, I had problems. I am still adamant that it was probably just my dodgey product, and that the others work fine, as my sister, and two of my friends, all bought themselves the cheaper model (256mb, no radio) and they works perfectly.

The CreativeMuVo is a flash memory based mp3 player, which basically means no moving parts (unlike iPods and other similar products) which means there really isn't that much to break on it! You are offered three different memory sizes; 128, 256, and 512mb (megabytes).
MEMORY:
Obviously, the larger the memory capacity, the more tracks it can hold, although, this also depends on what format you choose to have your tracks as. MP3 (Mpeg Layer 3) boasts higher quality, playing at 126 kbs (which basically means how much data is being transferred) and WMA (Windows Media Audio) is typically at 64 kb/s. This presents a noticeable difference in the size of the file (usually WMA is around half the size of a MP3 file) which means you can get around twice as many WMA files on your MP3 player.

I brought this CreativeMuTo Mp3 player two years ago, for a reasonable price. I used it to play WMA and MP3 files.
MuTo has great sound quality and a equaliser for music styles and customisation. The LCD screen is a must have, with all the essential information about playback. The setting options work well with your personal needs. It's all blue colour is appealing and the USB attachment is very handy.
The USB attachment is simple and effective. You plug in, download and go. The battery is a separate attachment to the USB, with AAA battery life for 18 hours playback.( I'm a student I should know)
Can store 150 songs or more but if you want to put ten or more albums on the device, you will need higher storage (1 GB).
