I bought this small mp3 player because I needed something that was both a cheap first mp3 player and also something that was tiny. I saw this advertised online and paid just £18 for it. I ordered mine from play.com and got free delivery and after ordering it arrived after only a few days so I was highly impressed with this service.
The size of the memory is not very high as it is only 1GB but, I find that what I need it for it is fine - it stills holds in the region of 250-300 songs depending on song length and the battery life is excellent.
To charge the mp3 all you need to do is connect the USB cable from it to your pc and it will charge it - this is also how you upload as it's as simple as plugging into the pc/laptop and it will detect it so that you can just drag songs onto it.
The earphones it comes with are small and discreet and don't hurt my ears so big bonus there! The only downside really is that it doesn't have a clip to hold it onto your clothes etc but you could always buy a pouch to wrap around your arms. Also it doesn't have a display screen like the next model up from it that does but, to me this isn't a major issue as I always play on random anyway. The sound is excellent quality for such an inexpensive item and is brilliantly clear.
The mp3 player is very easy to use with a simple selection of buttons so even somebody who is not very good with technical items will be able to master it. There is a small light thta shows green when in use or charging when plugged into your computer and if the battery is low the light shows red.
My model is pink as in the picture and it really is a girlie pink shade which is bright and eye catching! However it can also be bought in a range of other colours such as black, white, blue, yellow and red so something to suit everyone! The colour of every one of them is a like a glossy shade not a matt type shade.
Overall a cracking first mp3 player and will do it's job nicely without being too technical.
