Hi, I'm alex i am a drummer and want to help people decide what to buy by writing reviews about products I own, that way I can be completly accurate on what I say about the product.

This Creative Zen V Plus is a stylish little mp3 player that is very handy and looks very nice. With the 1GB version you can fit about 1000 songs on there and you can also store some video files and watch them (providing they are the correct format).
The controll system mainly consists of a play/pause button, a stop button and a stick that allows you to controll left,right,up,down and select. Also there is an on off button on the side and a volume controll on the other side. The controlls on this mp3 are very neat and are extreamly easy to use.
In the menu you have options for music, video, picture, settings, now playing and a extras menu. In music you can select to browse by artist, album or just have a list of all the songs. You can have multiple play modes consisting of shuffle, play all, repeat, repeat all. There is a cool equaliser to select how you want your music to sound.
The sound quality is very good and you do get a very good mp3 player for your money. Although if you plan to watch lengthy video's, this isn't the device for you as the screen size is rather small. There is some really cool exras like a calender, organiser and some sttings you can have are good aswell. For instance you can choose to rotate the screen to face any direction.
All in all this Zen V Plus mp3 player is a great piece of music listening equipment but if you want to watch video's then i would get an video ipod.

(+) Great screen quality and size, built in speaker and stand. (-) The only downside is that it is fragile, and can be hard to get used to the on screen keyboard.
