i got this player by chance, when my archos broke and the store couldn't substitute it, i used the store credit to get the first decent looking player i found. turns out i made a good choice. i've been using it for over two months now, and almost all i have to sayabout it is good.
first of all, it's small, about the size of a credit card, it's thin and very light; it's weight and dimensions don't affect it's consistency though, it feels solid and well made.
the display, brightly colored, is very big and it's a pleasure to watch videos or browse pictures on it . the menu is intuitive enough and has a great deal of options to select music: playlists, song ratings, by genre, by artist,... whatever your preference is in the way you pick your files, you'll find it easily enough on this player. it also has an "album of the day" button, that randomly selects albums for you. audio quality is very good, considering i'm an average user of this kind of product, but i'll leave it to the experts to decide.
the only defect i noticed is that once in a while while charging the battery (through the usb cable included in the box) it freezes, and i have to press the reset button. but it seems to be a defect of no consequence.
it's stylish, has good storage space (8 gb), easy to use, has videos, photos, and a microphone, audio quality is good, and it's a perfect alternative for who find the ipod to be too "snobby"...
oh, and did i mention it has a slot for SD cards?
