i bought this product in may 2008 for about £80 very reasonable for a new 8gb player considering the ipod of that size and generation cost £120-150. I choose it because i had a muvo and loved the quality but out grew it and after battleing with numerous unbranded models i was sick and tired of rubbish. I am a stong hater of popular branded stuff such as the ipod as people i know have had ipods stolen and broken after a year or so (just after the garentee runs out i think) so i didn't look at the ipods and as me and my brother had both had amazing creative mp3 players with no problems (his zen touch has been running for 4 years and still going strong) i decided to look for a new creative player the mozaic in my opinion was the same thing with an ugly casing and the x-fi was a bit expensive so at the size i needed the zen was ideal.
Memory- at 8 gb it holds a substancial amount of songs i don't know exactly as i haven't managed to fill it yet
Battery life- i have it clocked at about 12 hours but i dont know exactly as i use it in small amounts regulary
Size- this is about the size of a bank card is is a dinky little device and as it is mosly screen it is just the right size to slp in that tight jeans pocket
Sound quality- the sound quality is amazing, and that is through the head phones supplied and if you connect a pair of nice ones like jvc ones the sound is perfect.
Price- at around £50-£80 it is resonable priced and is both cheaper, better and better looking then the ipod.
Useablity- it is very easy to use and the navigation is very simple the only drawback it once an album is finished it doesn't strat playing the next- but i am sure if you create a playlist this wouldnt happen
overall - this dinky little player has amazing sound quality at a competitive price as well as a reachargeable battery which means you face no additional battery cost. it also looks amazing and i would advise anyone who is looking for a player to get this.
