The Zen Micro also allows you to choose from 8 different EQ settings to best suit whatever type of music ... ...from electronic stores to the Creative website for only $40US (sorry guys I don't know how much in pounds). When I bought mine it even came with an extra battery! Talk about a great deal!

It's sleek, tiny, lightweight and it comes in a rainbow of beautiful colours! The back of the player is curved ever so slightly so that it even fits nicely into your hand...no sharp corners here! Esthetically - this player has it all. Well, except for a colour screen, but hey...you want an mp3 player, not a TV!

The screen is small, but doesn't lack in quality. The text is crisp and clear, and with the funky blue lights surrounding the player, it's even more intriguing to look at!
The touchpad is a sensation...Creative started this trend and others are following. The new iRiver H10 also sports a touchpad. It definitely takes us button-pushers a little getting used to...but the ease of use follows suit quickly! You can change the sensitivity levels to your own preference...I prefer the middle range, but everyone's different! There is a hold switch on the top of the player so that you can place it in your pocket or purse without worrying that a knock on the touchpad will interrupt anything. Just don't knock it till you try it!
The menus are very simple and easy to access. You can navigate through any of them without interrupting the music play. The only downside is that you can only adjust the volume through the menu or while directly on the play screen as there are no external volume buttons. All of this can be solved with the purchase of the wired remote, which is a very cute colour matching accessory!
Another thing that really sealed the deal for me, was the removable battery pack. If the iPod battery dies, you have to send it back (for a hefty price) and wait for a new battery to be installed. Many players are plagued with this problem. The Zen Micro battery comes right off and you can purchase replacements anywhere from electronic stores to the Creative website for only $40US (sorry guys I don't know how much in pounds). When I bought mine it even came with an extra battery! Talk about a great deal!

If you're business savvy, the Zen Micro syncs seamlessly with Microsoft Outlook Express. That means you can upload your addresses, calendar, to do lists and contacts right to the palm of your hand! This player can even wake you up with your favourite song with it's sleep timer and alarm features.
The included software is easy to use and does more than just sync music to your player. With "Creative Media Source" and "Zen Micro Media Explorer", you can rip CD's to mp3 or wma format, organize playlists and sync them to your player with the simple drag and drop feature. Nothing confusing about that! If you prefer not to use the included software....guess what? You don't have to...no strings attached! You can do all of the same things with Windows Media Player 10...the most commonly used media player in the world. I really love how Creative made this all so simple for a beginner like me!
The player can also be used as a portable hard drive for any file type. Unfortunately you cannot yet view text files on the Zen Micro screen, but you can carry them, along with any other file type from computer to computer just by dragging and dropping them into the removable disk icon that will appear on you desktop. You never know... maybe soon enough, Creative will come up with a firmware upgragde to view text files.
What else can I say....you can create on the go playlists, customize how the main menu looks and you can even use the Creative DJ function to not only shuffle through your playlists but create a mix of your most popular tunes or the music you rarely hear! WOW!

The Zen Micro player fits perfectly into an "Altoids Mint" tin! Line it with a little bit of foam of some sort, drill a small hole for your headphone wire, and protect your player! This will provide endless faceplate opportunities as you can decorate your tin anyway you desire...and it's a heck of a lot cheaper than buying skins for it! I love it!

At first impression, the look of this machine is stunning. The player is surrounded by a mesmorising blue light making it a joy to use. The capacity is 5GB, storing around 1000 of your favourite songs, and if you get bored of listening to your own music, there's also a built in radio with 32 presets available.

I thought "Wow 10 colours, brilliant!" haha, it did take me about 6 weeks to choose which colour I wanted "black....white....noooo black...so silver...ohh red-gorgeous! nahh...black.." anyway, I decided to go with silver and it's a beaut! For me, it has everything I need, holds the right amount of songs and looks just as good, ... ...These include some white, plastic, Creative earphones with grey foam coverings to protect your ears-these actually fell off mine in the rain a few weeks ago, the same happened with my friend so they may not be helping a lot haha! It also comes with a silky, black cover which you can carry your player around in, 2 battery packs, a small plastic stand which surprisingly, allows your player to STAND, and a clip to that you can, again, surprisingly, ...

...prices I went onto the Creative website and actually ended up purchasing the little beast through one of their approved stores, and at the cheapest price I had seen as well, thumbs up from me. The player cost me £135 delivered which I though was a fair price.
For those of you who don't know an MP3 player allows you, with a range of software (depending on the type of player) to take you CD's or downloaded music and transfer them onto the hard drive ... ...massive amount of time and Creative Media Source supports the Windows Media Format (WMA) as well as MP3 so that makes it doubly easy as you don't need to change the file types.
When first importing tracks you just need to put everything onto Creative Media, but as time goes on and you get more tracks you will need to add them individually. This can be a bit of a pain as finding 3 songs amongst 2500 can be a bit awkward. I found that when I download ...

...After an experience with the Creative Zen Jukebox (the brick), I decided to go for something smaller. I saw the Zen Micro on Amazon for £169 and begin to deliberate between that and the Ipod Mini. It took a couple of days of pouring over reviews that seemed to contradict each other before I decided. In the end, it was the FM radio that swung me.
After deciding to get it, I went into town that day and searched for one. In Curry's the only colour ... ...widened my search. I had to get a lift to a small shop in the suburbs before I found one for £179 in a decent colour.
After rushing home with the mp3 player I opened it up and was shocked by how small it was, it fit perfectly into the palm of my hand. The curved edges made it feel really comfortable sitting in my hand.
The software that comes with the player is not too great. The software to put music onto the player and the software to see files ...

2 years ago, the "craze" was to have an ipod mini....or anything made my Apple. However, i wanted to try something different, something that wasnt made by Apple, but still looked "cool". So i decided that i wanted an mp3 player made by Creative.
After wanting this for ages...my parents finally decided to get me one for my birthday, and what a birthday present it was!
Knowing nothing at all about capacity or anything, my brother told me the specification, which made it even more brilliant! The ZenMicro has 5GB capacity - so it can hold up to 2500 songs in wma format and 1250 in mp3 format, but at the moment i havent used all of the capacity up yet.
