I have had this mp3 player for a year, and I bought it for £150. I have used it regularly everyday for at least an hour each day.
For the first 9 months, it functioned perfectly, however, recently it has started playing up- the screen freezing, or flipping upside down, or not turning on when it has full battery. However, annoying as these problems are, they can be fixed easily by a simple clean up which takes about 2 minutes, and this feature can be accessed by putting the battery in while holding the power button on, which can sometimes be a bit awkward to do.
The white paint has started to chip on my mp3 player (mainly when I was using a silicon skin) which is unsightly and annoying, but poses no other problem except for being aesthetically unpleasing.
The touchpad is slightly annoying, it is possible to change the sensitivity of the touchpad but this doesn't help a lot of the time. I find that the touchpad also sometimes has a slight lag, which means I end up pressing the button 5 or 6 times to no effect, and then suddenly those 5 or 6 presses take effect.
The photos that are stored on this mp3 player and of high quality, however, it's annoying that you cannot listen to music whilst look at the photos- the music just turns off.
I have never used the radio on this mp3 player, simply because I personally prefer to listen to my own music than the radio.
The microphone leaves high quality recordings, which means I have been able to record a few tracks from the radio (not the radio in the mp3 player, but another, such as the car radio) which have been of acceptable quality.
The headphones which came with the mp3 player were an awkward shape to fit in my ears, and so I bought some new ones of a different brand.

I recieved my creative zen micro photo as a replacement for my late Ipod mini (4gb), I was shocked when I initially tore open the packaging with an unnatural force, inside I found:
*My creative zen microphoto (in black)
*Creative earphones (Quality wasn't great, obviously a knock-off of the *Ipod headphones)
*Leather pouch
*battery
*CD with software
*cable
Lets start with the Zen, ok, it has no buttons and some users will find the toch-interface ... ...boot.
Overall- I personally wouldn't spend more than £100 on one of these, they aren't quite the 'ipod-killer' creative maked them out to be but it is a solid, resiliant and cool looking player.
Players party peice-An electric blue light areound the sides really makes this little gem stand out. ...

The Creative Zen Micro photo 8GB is wonderful. I love it. I would definetly recommend it to anyone.
Firstly, the appearance of the micro is very modern and eye catching. The controls and the rim glow blue and the player comes in many colours to suit everyone's tastes. The display on the screen is easy to read and can be personalised with a stored photo or by changing the background colour.
Installing the Micro photo (along with the programs associated ... ...follow step by step installation CD which makes life so much easier for those of us who have little knowledge of computers! The player plays mp3 format music and so no extra programs are needed to change the format of music files from windows media player or equavilant music players. Putting music on the player is also very easy. Simply click and drag the files from your music folder into the Zen Micro Photo music folder. I couldn't believe how easily ...

The worst product I've ever owned. I got mine around Christmas time and so far I've had to have it replaced twice. This is very poor quality! It freezes up often. The second time I had it replaced was because nothing could be transferred to the MP3. Also, customer service is horrible. You'd think if you paid (I paid in dollars) 200 USD for something, you'd get better service. No. They will give you phone service for the first 60 days. Then you only get email service. Their slow response to emails is the main reason I've gotten to use MP3 player for a total of 1 month since then. Its now August. Don't by Creative ever! ...

Well. I had been looking for something to play my music on for a while. I pods are just not my thing- so that was them out. I chose this product after having trouble with many other mp3 players and found it to be well worth the money.
Advantages:
The first thing that attracted me to it was the wide range of colours available, i chose pink but around 8 colours are made.
I find the 8GB memory to be ample for my music collection and the sound is clear.
The Microphoto has many features: a radio, voice recorder and it stores photos.
It is an attrative, modern design and small enough to fit into your palm.
Easy to get music onto from the computer and easy to find the song you're looking for.
Battery life is good and lasts for ages.
It is durable as it been through all sorts of wear and tear and I've had no technical problems with it.

I'll start with the positive: this mp3 player is beautiful, sleek and fits easily into your pocket. It attracts lots of "oohs" and "ahh" because of its colour screen, photo storage and 'zen' buttons. It has the bonus features of a radio and sound recorder, and its sound quality is pretty good. It ahs the option to be charged via a connection with the computer, but if you want to plug it into a mains socket you have to buy that cable separately. Plus the uploading software is very easy to use and works well.
HOWEVER, it must be used with utmost care. I managed to get through 2 in 4 months - they break so easily. They crash, the hard drive breaks down, the headphone connection breaks, and I didn't even use it that much! The second one broke within a week (that surely says something).
