Around a year ago i purchased my very own Creative ZenVision:M media device, capable of holding around 30GB of songs, videos and photo's - An unbelievable amount of storage for such a small object, and i truely was amazed. I ordered my Zen from Amazon.co.uk for around £150.00, and as promised it arrived within 3-5 working days. My first impressions of the product (as I removed it from its carefully designed packaging) were mainly focused on how solid and durable the player felt. Once i'd installed the computer software (needed for uploading my favourite tracks, videos and images), I charged it up and turned it on - though this was a time consuming process, my amazement continued. The inside layout of the device is very simple and easy to understand. It was unbelievably easy to use aswell, including the process of uploading videos and tracks. I found browzing my growing collection of media a breeze and often quite enjoyable. The player is set out in a 'list' format, meaning all the headings are 'listed' vertically down the screen. I found this way simple but effective to users, especailly with the handy touch pad located at the bottom, centre of the device making scrolling through the lists even easier. When you finally select a song to play, the player will open a new screen with the track name, album name and artist(s) of the song clearly shown. A time-bar is also there to show what progress has been made through the track. At this point the touch pad becomes a volume controller, this is very useful in turning up/down the volume when the player is consealed in your pocket or bag. Playing videos on the Zen seems slightly rediculous when you take into consideration the relatively small screen the Zen has. Well, the truth is I could happily watch a 2hour movie on this player without any hastle at all - Perfect for long journeys. The quality is very impressive, with your ear-phones in its easy to get lost in a film without realising it.
After several weeks my 'Music Collection' had grown to in excess of 1,000 tracks, but the player was still capable of holding so much more. You might of thought that an every-day use of the product for a good few months would have crippled it or atleast damaged the screen or sensitive touch-pad, well no... My Zen suffered only minour scuffs and scratches proving my earlier point of apparant durability in the materials its made out of - Another thing i found very impressive.
Overal verdict - A hugely successful product hiden inside a small, pocket-sized device. 5 stars.

Advantages: good memory capacity, bounces well when you drop it! Disadvantages: Too many problems with the accompanying cd, heavy.
