The player is nice and small; ... ...a range of color choices for the detail. The backgrounds and themes on screen can be personalized also, which is a nice little touch. The buttons on the front are built in to the casing and easy to operate. The whole player is very ergonomic in design and feels good to hold, as well as simple and easy to operate. The hold button on the side is very secure, and prevents the player from being switched on, or off accidentally.

TECHNOLOGY
2GB storage- Ive managed to get about 1000 songs onto it no problem. FM RADIO- A surprising extra feature for an mp3 player of such a low price, excellent quality radio reception. PHOTO AND VIDEO- you can upload and view both photographs and videos on this player, allthough the screen is a little small for viewing the videos. MICROPHONE- built in microphone with recording setting. I have found this very useful when recording meetings or lectures!
DURABILTY
This is definatley one of the products strong points, i have dropped this mp3 player more times than i care to remember and it still has not even a scratch on it ! The tough plastic casing and screen prevent damage, and the simple design means there are no complicated parts to break ! I have also spilt a few drinks on it over the last year and it has proved to be pretty robust against the rainy Scottish weather every day !
Overall I think this is a brilliant example of how simple, easy to use technology is often the most durable and reliable also. This is an excellent choice for anyone with an active lifestyle, who doesn't want to have to worry about dropping and breaking their mp3 player whilst on the move! - Excellent value for money !!

This MP3 player is perfect for anyone who wants a small MP3 that does about everything.
It is very small and light and looks rather nice too. It can be customized, for example you can change the backgrounds on it and the colour of the menu. You can also add your own pictures to it from your computer.
Although it is called an MP3 player it also plays video and when I say that I don't mean small clips, I managed to put a whole movie on there. The ... ...files to .avi before you put them on and even then it somtimes has to be converted again (Ill explain this later), the other disadvantage is that the screen is very small so if there is subtitles on a movie or program like 'heroes' then you will find it hard to read if at all.
You can also view pictures on there and album art (when your song is playing). This can also be used as backgrounds.

...but I already own a Creative Zan Xtra 30gb which I love but its too big & my boyfriend had a Micro 5gb before he put it in the washing machine. I wanted something stylish, small & light I could wear at the gym. I like the creative menu system so that was the deciding factor. I couldn't find that many reviews, a couple I did find mentioned having to use the reset button a lot but I bought it anyway.
Accessories
The supplied creative brand headphones ... ...I can wait for the Creative version to some out. You can also buy mains chargers for less than £10 ( I saw one in HMV yesterday)
I havnt covered everything but if I find out something useful I will update my review.
Don't think about it any longer just buy it. You won't regret it I don't. ...

After a long period of decision making on whether or not to splash out and get an ipod. I decided against it. I started looking into different products and brands other than mac and decided that, although it would be nice to have 30 or even 80 gigabytes of memory, I didn't actually need it. Whilst on my travels on my quest to find an alternative to the pod I stumbled across this nice little product. What caught my eye at first was that it was obviously ... ...I decided to look at the specs involved and I was quite impressed. It boast 2000 song capacity, with in built flash memory and it also doubles up as a voice recorder. The brand name was also familiar to me from my sound software on my comp so I new it would have a least some reliability. All this information in mind I decided to make a mental note of the catchy and rememberable name "Creative Zen V 2" and look at other similar products. In the end ...

Right then, the CreativeZenV Plus 2GB is a very good player to me. I purchased this mp3+mp4 player just before Christmas and first impressions were great, instruction manual very useful so I got familiar with the player very quickly. There is a lot of software that can be put onto your PC but all I use is the Creative MediaSource 5 Organizer and the ZenV Series Media Explorer. But first you want to go onto the Creative product registration and register your product so your warranty becomes valid.
Negatives: To start with, the headphones are a bit big and are like the Ipod headphones which have a very thin stalk on them so can break easily. Mine didn't break because I changed them straight away after realizing the sound quality wasn't very good and the headphones were too big and wouldn't stay in my ears, they kept falling ...
Advantages: Sound quality, size,look Disadvantages: Small joystick, no mains charger
I had been looking for a long while for an mp3 player before I decided on this one after a lot of people had said very favourable things about Creatives products.
Size:
When I got the ZenV plus It was smaller than I had imagined it to be, It's palm sized but for me that was an advantage. it is also very light so very easy to use on the go.
Ease of use
The software that came with it was very easy to load and use on my computer and it came with what I felt a basic instruction manual. Very easy to use and easy to manage the files on the mp3 player.
The mp3 player itself has a very easy to use menu and you can find the song you want fairly easy as you can choose either by all music, artist, song title or type of genre. The way that the songs are stored in the genres section is a bit confusing as some just are not in the right ...
