The game itself is a mix in dimensions ... The creatures and objects are 3D, but it is played in a 2D world. The graphics, while not realistic, do look stylish and effective and are a major jump up from the completely ... ...sections to the ship in Creatures 3; four terrariums (Norn, Desert, Aquatic and Jungle), a learning room, and two 'bridge' sections.

Creatures is effectively just raising your baby Norns from eggs to adults, getting them to breed and continue your Norn family for generations, protecting them from the dangers of the world, keeping them fed and happy. Advantages: Good Life Sim, very intelligent artificial life, each with own dDNA, genetic code, and brain! Disadvantages: Mostly for younger children, Ntohing else really, except
Creatures 3 is the next step into artificial life!
Watch and grow your norns from birth to death, each one possibly getting ill or being born with a genetic disease.
Delve in deep to the chemistry and genetics, or jsut care for your Norns, the creatures inhabiting the creatures 3 cyberspace.
Younger children will enjoy careing for each norn, while older people will start modifying genetic genes, and testing new medicines.
The graphics are 2D ... ...a huge ARK spaceship.
Unfortunatley, creatures three is reaching the end of its life-span, which i think is a great shame, make a creatures 4!
The sound is good, but slgihtly lacking, but the creatures do display a speech bubble above there head of REAL english, tellnig you what they think.

The Creatures series is actually a bunch of artificial life simulators that can only be loosely described as games. Your task is to raise Norns right, and this involves everything from teaching them English to making sure they eat properly. Once they reach an age of maturity they’ll try to find a mate whom they can kiss, which makes a baby (so that’s ... ...to their children, and they’ll interact with their progeny, and even teach them to talk and so on. The little guys need things to interact with in their little world, and there’s no shortage of stimuli. As well as all the gadgets, toys, machines and vehicles that clutter up the huge, living spaceship the Norms inhabit, there are also two other races: the mysterious but friendly Ettins and the mean Grendels. Advantages: Many things to discover. Disadvantages: No main plot, no ending.
...they hatch into cute little creatures called Norns. When they are hatched you can; name them, teach them English in the learning room so you can understand them, feed them all different foods to give them the protein and energy they require, make them play with all the little toys and gadgets they own, inject them with the chemicals and medicines they need when they are ill and much much more!
There are also 2 more species other than Norns;
Ettins, ... ...creatures.
A good thing about Creatures 3 is that there is so much to learn and discover, like connecting machines to make new gadgets and exploring other zones. Although with all these things it can be hard to figure everything out so the help option always comes in handy.
Unfortunately when you do find everything out the game can become tedious as there is no proper plot it just keeps going, but it is overall an enjoyable game to play for all ...

Think about this, you start with a cute and lovely furry animal (i do not have a clue what it is but its cute) and you control its world basicly you can feed it, give it a drink, give it toys, breed them, hatch eggs, take them for a runs and so on!
With great graphics and very cool sound effects,and the music at the main menu is just so cool!
I would get this game if i was you becuase it great for people like me who like total control.
