Creme de la Mer The Creme 60ml Moisturizing Cream - The legendary Creme that has inspired ... more
a cult following. Creme de la Mer's Miracle Broth™ is suspended within its extraordinary formula. To release its key ingredients, warm a small amount between your fingertips. As you pat onto clean, dry skin, you will instantly feel the soothing effects of the broth. Smooth over your face, neck, even under the fragile eye area. Apply day and night for a lifetime.
Advantages: You see results quickly Disadvantages: Expensive
I had heard about crèmedelamer in the press & looked at the price & thought how ridiculously overpriced. Even though I was intrigued I thought there's no way I can justify spending that much.
However things were about to change - fast forward to 3 years later & I have had the worst skin problems with spots & scarring - they seemed never ending & I was beginning to get fed up of always having horrible skin.
Then one day complaining to a friend she recommended using crèmedelamer. She has been using it for about 5 years & has the most amazing skin - so off I went to Selfridges & got the 30ml pot - I thought I don't want to splash out too much so I thought I'll use this size to try it out.
I've been using the creme morning & night on recommendation of my friend to get maximum benefits - this has worked very well for me. It also ...
Advantages: This 'designer' cream will turn your bathroom shelf into a shrine. Disadvantages: Your bank manager will none too pleased.
for longer, unfortunately I will never find out. Another dilemma is in that your skincare routine should ideally feature products from the same brand as they compliment each other but after purchasing the face cream can you also splurge out on the cleanser, the serum, the eye cream, the lip balm?
My verdict would be that if you cannot afford to splash the cash then refrain from CremedelaMer as it offers nothing more than would say a moisturiser that costs twenty pounds from Boots. If you still can't resist the urge then bear in mind that it is just a face cream, not cosmetic surgery in a tub, don't have extremely high expectations and you won't be disappointed. And please don't be swayed by the history behind its creation - apparently some scarred dude invented it by mixing together a variety of natural ingredients, and what's more is that it ...
Advantages: leaves skin moisturized for long Disadvantages: overpriced, overrated,no SPF
between fingertips before tapping it on the face, but my fingers absorbed most of the cream!Does it mean I will have wrinkle-free finger tips??
The CremedelaMer, ladies and gentlemen, DOES NOT contain a SPF, which means that, although I spent a fortune for this cream, I have to spend even more for another cream with SPF (and would I apply it before or after the CremedelaMer?).This is not acceptable, everyone knows about the risks of skin cancer and if I pay a fortune for a face cream then it has to be perfect.
That was the bad news. The good news, however, is that excellent creams DO exist. Instead of wasting money on a product that is mainly famous because VIP use it ( sure...Victoria Beckham looks like that because she uses CremedelaMer, not because she has Botox injections, and Restylane fillings...) you'd better off investing ...
