Advantages: You see results quickly Disadvantages: Expensive
I had heard about crèmedelamer in the press & looked at the price & thought how ridiculously overpriced. Even though I was intrigued I thought there's no way I can justify spending that much.
However things were about to change - fast forward to 3 years later & I have had the worst skin problems with spots & scarring - they seemed never ending & I was beginning to get fed up of always having horrible skin.
Then one day complaining to a friend she recommended using crèmedelamer. She has been using it for about 5 years & has the most amazing skin - so off I went to Selfridges & got the 30ml pot - I thought I don't want to splash out too much so I thought I'll use this size to try it out.
I've been using the creme morning & night on recommendation of my friend to get maximum benefits - this has worked very well for me. It also ...
Advantages: leaves skin moisturized for long Disadvantages: overpriced, overrated,no SPF
between fingertips before tapping it on the face, but my fingers absorbed most of the cream!Does it mean I will have wrinkle-free finger tips??
The CremedelaMer, ladies and gentlemen, DOES NOT contain a SPF, which means that, although I spent a fortune for this cream, I have to spend even more for another cream with SPF (and would I apply it before or after the CremedelaMer?).This is not acceptable, everyone knows about the risks of skin cancer and if I pay a fortune for a face cream then it has to be perfect.
That was the bad news. The good news, however, is that excellent creams DO exist. Instead of wasting money on a product that is mainly famous because VIP use it ( sure...Victoria Beckham looks like that because she uses CremedelaMer, not because she has Botox injections, and Restylane fillings...) you'd better off investing ...
Advantages: This 'designer' cream will turn your bathroom shelf into a shrine. Disadvantages: Your bank manager will none too pleased.
' it on the palm of your hand by gently rubbing it until it 'melts', it does eventually become softer and so can then be applied much easily to the face. Apparently this process releases or rather activates the key, magical ingredients as well. To be honest, at this stage I was not all that amused, firstly I don't like to work this hard for a moisturiser, I expect to just bung it out of the tub and slap it on my face without all this heating malarkey. Secondly, my skin just looked absolutely greasy - CremedelaMer takes a while to be absorbed so prepare to apply it way before you plan to leave the house. Unimpressed, I slung the tub in my discarded beauty products draw until recently...
... a month ago, still wincing at the amount I has paid for a moisturiser that was just collecting dust, I decided to give it a second chance. I admit ...
