The Beast: Excellent choice.
Review of kookabura little beast cricket bat by
sam1060
Advantages: Long lasting, light, kookaburra, kashmir willow
Disadvantages: hasnt got a big middle.
The Bat
The Bat is a very good Bat. The middle is'nt very big, although when you hit it, boy, its beautiful. Its so natural and i would probably say when you hit the middle it is delicious. the bat is made of high quality kashmir willow, and because it is kookaburra you can bet that it was very well made. All bats are pre-knocked in, but kookaburra do recommend at least 1 hour of knocking in. Feel
The bat feels very good. Its light and very manuverable. ... ...the only bad thing i could say about the feel, is that as soon as you dont hit the middle, you get that horrible feeling in your hands, which is not unusual, but it happend alot more with my kookaburra, compared to my new woodworm. Lastability
this bat lasted me the best part of 2 full seasons, indoors and out and also in the nets. i play in my clubs 'a' team, so its not like the bowlers we play are all terrible. Saying this, my bat did brake and ...

Review of Slazenger Select by
peter_booker2003
Advantages: Power, Force, Comfort
Disadvantages: Heavy Bat
The Slazenger V1200 is a very nice bat to play with. It has immense power for strong players. Very nice Bat and is worth every penny you have to pay for it. The slazenger range has a lot to offer to any cricketer even if you have just started playing or you have been playing for 25 years. The V100 V200 V300 V400 V500 V600 V800 and the V1200 are all bats that you try.
I have had my V1200 for 2 years now and not 1crack has appeared and i have been ...

The Gray Nicholls millenium....
Review of Gray Nicolls Millennium by
marioman
Advantages: Lightweight, large middle,
Disadvantages: the cost
I have used this bat in the past and thought very highly of it. This perfectly constructed bat is lightweight and moulded excellently. Its large middle and thick edges make it a very forgiving bat. This bat is perfect for not only beginners but right the way up to professional standard. It is a comfortable bat to ply with and a comfortable handle and grip. The price depends on the weight of the bat and the size. This bat is durable and gives of very ...

Got Wood?
Review of Kookaburra Ultimate Belta Cricket Bat 2006 by
shanediablo
Advantages: Chunky, Light, A hitters delight
Disadvantages: Not for the defensive/classical player, bat-power comes too easily
...This was, unbelievably, my first Kookaburra bat of any description. It was purchased for me by a family member so I cannot honestly be sure of the cost of it but I knew from when I first picked it up that it was of good quality.
Being a very aggressive player, I rely on the bats being chunky in order for them to be regularly hit for the maximum and this bat is definitely chunky alright. A common balancing problem is that a bat will be really chunky ... ...therefore a great thing for Kookaburra that the were able to make this a relatively light weight and easy pick up. A sign that the game is developing at a real pace.
Ok so once you have enjoyed checking out the bats size and weight it is time to give it a go. Cue a trip to a net session, or a team traning session or for those crazy enough to do so, straight into a match situation.
I personally prefer to try it out in the nets first. I found that ...

Fusion Super Best Cricket Bat
Review of Fusion Super Best Cricket Bat by
123abc123
Advantages: Full customised, excellent quality bats, excellent service.
Disadvantages: Absolutely None!
The Fusion Super Best is without doubt the best cricket bat I have ever used, accompanied with the best service available on the market. Fusion are a small company, who hand make all of their bats from the finest English Willow. They are one of the only companies who use Grade 1+ willow for their top of the range bat, which is usually only reserved for professionals. Fusion will customise ever single aspect of your bat, and you can even try out the ... ...try this, but I have heard that the facilities are top quality. Their aftersales services are second to none, and there is not a single aspect of the bat which has not been excellent. Whywaste your money on large manufacturers, when you can get a better quality bat for a lower price and a truely enjoyable experience. ...
