It was the look of the crimpers that appealed to me being that I was pretty young when I bought them...But they are worthless! Not only do they take a ridiculously long time to heat up because the changable metal plates are so pointlessly thick, but even when they've finally reached their hottest point they still don't work very well, leaving the hair with just a slight wave which actually looks like you've just burnt your hair with hair straighteners...Not ... Advantages: Fast heat up and cool tips
Disadvantages: Not really good for mega thick hair like mine!

The reason why i bought these straighteners was beause of the cool tips provided for your fingers as my other straighteners I've had before didn't have them and I kept burning my fingers, but these were excellent as it meant i wouldn't get burnt anymore. I also bought them because they had wide straightening plates because I've got really thick hair so I could straighten a big bunch of hair at once and it would be a lot quicker as my hair would normally ...
...took 15 mins also beacuse they heated up quickly, so i would recommend these especially if you have a very busy lifestyle and don't have a lot of time to spend on your hair! But the problem is that they're not really good for mega thick hair like mine as you would have to spend a lot of time on it to get your hair straight, but i do recommend it to people with medium or thin hair. ...
