Review of Hula Hoops Original Crisps

Skips - The melt in your mouth or in your hand snack!

Advantages: Great design, low in calories.
Disadvantages: Not strong enough for me.

Skips are a snack which are mainly comprised of tapioca and sunflower oil and always remind me of being a little girl and swapping with my best friend for these as they were light. Skips are prawn cocktail in flavour and this is obvious as soon as you open the foil fresh bag which keeps the crisps fresh and lovely ready for eating. The sell by date on the packet I have is two months away so they'll last a while even if crisps don't go down often ...
...The bag size is 25g and this is ample as a nice snack but probably not sufficient to fill a very big hole, especially if you are as hungry as I am! This will lead to either another packet being consumed or making something else to eat which for me just defeats the object of grabbing something quick and simple to eat. Loopy little rings, mini things

Review of Hula Hoops Minis

An OK crisp!

Advantages: Good strong flavours
Disadvantages: Mushy in the mouth!

...from the strong flavours that KP do so well, the salt and vinegar in particular are great and reminiscent of the Hula Hoop Salt and vinegar variety! They are initially very crispy when you bite into them, but the mixture soon becomes a bit of a mush and the texture sloppy. The after taste for the cheese and onion variety is stronger than that for the salt and vinegar and they leave a nice cheesey taste for just long enough... you don't go all day ...
...a bag of frisps over a bag of hula hoops I would choose hula hoops each time, but I do think that they are tastier than some other well known varieties available...such as Smiths Square Crisps, which are made of simliar ingredients. If you are looking for a healthy crisp snack (if there is such a thing) then these are not by any means the best you could have...but they are OK....I think that's the best I can say abou them! Multi-grains; multi-disappointments.

Advantages: Healthier for you than the traditional range.
Disadvantages: Very little flavour, packaging is visually unappealing.
