Crone Corkhill Recruitment

I went to Crone and Corkill in Picadilly Circus about 3 weeks ago, and like previous comments they were very quick to get in contact and seemed professional on the phone and via email. However when I arrived there it was a different story!

I was told my meeting time over the phone and I arrived 15mins early. When I arrived, not only were the receptionists really unprofessional (chatting to themselves instead of asking me if I needed ay help) they were also very unhelpful and made me feel extremely uncomfortable when seeking my appointment - they had no records of a meeting and there was no recruiter to greet me. The person I originally spoken to was conveniently not there that day!

I was told to fill out so many papers. I was there for at least 20minutes, then the skills test for an hour (I had not even met anyone by then and was just treated like a number) and then I was introduced to another recruiter called Zhoe Acheson and she was not prepared, with no copy of my CV at hand. I had to give her my personal copy (and she seemed annoyed that she was disturbed and acted like it was my fault that they had not planned the meeting like discussed on email and over the phone.)

I would not recommend Zhoe Acheson to anyone. She was forceful, very unhelpful, she belittled me and interviewed me like I was applying for a job and she was the actual boss. I came out feeling rather disturbed after having endured 30 mins of interrogation! She gave me her email and I tried sending her my CV that day but the email would always return because she had the "out of office" disclaimer on. Few days later same problem. So UNPROFESSIONAL.

Having been to other friendly and helpful agencies, who treat you like an asset and an actual human being I will definitely NOT recommend Crone and Corkill to anyone! If you do have the unfortunate encounter with this agency, stay well and truly away from Zhoe she will bull doze her way through the interview and you will not be able to place a word in edgeways!
