I\'ve been using one of these for about 12 months now. Mines the cream/black/maroon version.
As with all Crumpler bags, it's very sturdy and well made, and lots of practical features but be aware, this bag is most definitely NOT waterproof like most of their other bags, due to the neoprene panels (the main part of the bag is made from their water resistant ChickenTex fabric). Not a problem, just something to be aware of.
Also, as with all Crumpler bags, it is very stylish and whilst it's maybe a bit more expensive than other brands, you DO seem to get what you pay for with their products. This little bag has had some serious abuse and apart from being a bit mucky (it's cream in colour - what do you expect), it's in great condition.
This pouch is big enough to hold a larger compact digital camera (I use a Panasonic TZ1, for an idea of size). The velcro closing flap features a seperate small pocket for spares such as extra memory cards, or maybe a spare battery (not AA or AAA type batteries, but the small Li-ion ones you get in some cameras).
On the back of the pouch there is a loop for the neckstrap (which is included) or a nice secure double-velcro tab you can use to fasten it to your belt or rucksac. Personally, this usually just gets thrown in my rucksac with all my other stuff (including lots of fabric-trashing climbing gear) and it protects my camera beautifully.
Also - and I wouldn't recommend you try this at home - the neoprene is VERY protective if, for example, you were to drop your camera down the stairs....
