Crysis is a science fiction first-person shooter computer game developed by German company Crytek. It is an open-ended game with many ways to meet objectives, The main character, called Nomad, is capable of selecting various modes in his military prototype "Nano Muscle Suit." The suit is capable of four modes: armor, strength, speed, and cloak. Nearly everything is destroyable in the game e.g Trees, houses, vehicles, boats, and many many more (you will have to find out the rest).
Set in August 2020, The plot follows Lieutenant Jake Dunn (nicknamed "Nomad") a United States Army Delta Force soldier. When the game starts an American team of archaeologists are taken captive by the North Korean Army, just as they were making an important discovery in the South China Sea. The United States responds by deploying a team of Delta Force soldiers to investigate and you are part of that team.
Playability - 9/10 - The game is easy to handle for a first
person shooter, hard at times but the game would be too easy without all those small challenges. I would recommend the game to beginners.
Enjoyment - 10/10 - I simply loved this game the best game I have ever played in my life, straight after completing single player on medium I went back to the start menu and played it from the beginning again on hard. Then you have the nano suit which is always a laugh to mess around with and the different options it has. There is also many different ways to kill your enemies and interact with the world it's almost an endless pool of enjoyment and fun.
Graphics - 10/10- The graphics are enough to blow you out of this world, it makes you feel like you are really there, you have realistic facial expressions, swaying trees, crashing waves against a golden beech all near enough looking 95% real, The down side is, to see all this wonderful graphics you will need an expensive graphics card, expect to pay around £250+ to even skim the surface that is Crysis wonderful and amazing graphics.
Sound - 10/10 - Ah… The sound, close your eyes and imagine that you standing in a jungle, everything you hear down to the birds singing, the distant waves hitting the beech nearby and even the grass rustle as you walk through it. All this is available in the game and its truly amazing really helps to immerse you in the Crysis world.
Difficulty - 5/10 - I found the game quite easy there are puzzles to solve now and again but it all adds to it, the story is pretty linear so you won't ever get lost.
Addictiveness - 7/10 - Lets face it the game is fairy addictive, almost an endless amount of things to do but after a while even that gets boring, even so the game still holds you there for a good few months.
Originality - 5/10 - Not that original since it is basically a spin-off from FarCry, the suit idea was a good one and very original, also the way you can destroy near enough anything in the game, even building support beams to make the whole thing collapse. Overall there is nothing that new or original included.
Value for money - 7/10 - Good value for money and I would have to say that the game is worth every penny. On the downside you need a decent PC before you even think about buying the game and to build that up can cost you an arm or a leg. All the same well worth it.
Longevity - 7/10- This game will keep you fixed like a drug addict for a good 3 months before you feel that you need to move on to better things. With the multiplayer feature and Mods that will also be available in the future Crysis could last for quite a while.
Overall - 9.5/10- Crysis is the best FPS I have played in a very long time, there is nothing bad about it but just bare in mind before you go running down to the shops to buy it… Is my PC good enough? For most people the answer is (no). aside from that Crysis is a game I wouldn't recommend missing out on, with a great storyline and at least 20 hours of hardcore mouse clicking you will see how worth while it is. As a last down point, the game ends to soon which made me sad but no worries a pre-sequel is in the making.

Advantages: The most visually stunning game graphics your eyes will encounter. Disadvantages: The kind of computer you would need to run this game at decent playability will cost you a kidney.
