V.C.Andrews is a very famous author known primarily for her books The 'Dollanganger Family' one of which is titled flowers in the attic. Most of the books under her name come in fives. Four separate stories which somehow wind together to create a fifth. Crystal is no exception and it is the second instalment to the 'Orphans Miniseries'. The others are known as Butterfly, Brooke, Raven and finally Runaways. Now before I go further I have to break a few hearts. Even though V.C.Andrew is famous for many a book she has personally penned few herself. She did write the whole Dollanganger family series just as she wrote half the Casteel family series and My Sweet Audrina. Advantages: i did ok
Disadvantages: some stresses and strains

1) What did you do in 2008 that you have not done before? I taught English to a class of Germans over the summer. I was terrified when asked to do it but absolutely loved it and was a brilliant experience. 2) Did anyone close to you give birth? Not that I can think of although almost I have 7 friends who are currently pregnant and expecting their babies very soon! 3) Did anyone close to you die? No one particularly close to, but someone that I admired very much. A local man who was well known for his dedication to the local carnival and his yearly appearances as father Christmas at various occasions. I had know him since I was little and he was short, a little overweight with a white beard. Little Cleaning Crystals of Wonderment

Advantages: Cheap, Environmentally friendly, Versatile...they're just great, ok?
Disadvantages: You wouldn't want to sprinkle them on your cornflakes!

In my eternal quest to try and save money, and allow me to spend more on the finer things in life (nice holidays etc), I've reading up a lot on different ways to shop and save. My latest discovery is Soda Crystals and for this I need to thank Kim and Aggie and my other half being late home, causing me to watch their programme on BBCAmerica (Their show is on 4 times a day in America, can you believe it?). My shopping bill seems to get bigger and bigger and I often find new products I want to try out, or 'need' as they claim to 'better than the rest'. My biggest expense always seem to come from cleaning products, be it limescale removers, washing powder, fabric softener, bleaches and creams, window cleaners, sink and drain cleaners...you get the idea.
