I bought one of these for my granddaughter who is three as she was getting too big for her old towels that she had had from being a baby. Yes you can use ordinary towels with a toddler but these ones are much more fun to use!

They have a hood sewn into them so that you can wrap your toddler up in them and keep them warm. The hood has little ears on too so adds to the fun of getting dry!

My granddaughter loves bath time but doesn't like it when it's time to get out so we are always trying to find ways to make it more fun and this towel is quite good at doing that!

It is large, I would say just a bit smaller than an average bath towel and has a large hood which is actually too big for her at the moment and I imagine by the time it fits her head she will have grown out of this kind of towel but I suppose it's better to be too big than too small.

The one we have is pink all over and has big pink ears. She likes to pretend she is a bunny when wearing it!

It falls to her feet so it is a little big but that is good as she is growing very fast!

It wraps around her well with ample room left to grow. It is easy to get her in it and she can get herself into it whereas she would struggle to put a dressing gown on by herself so this saves time and effort.

It dries well as it's good quality and it's easy to clean along with other towels. we have only had this a few weeks so I don't know how well it will continue to wash but I have heard that this brand is very durable so I am hoping it will last.

It's a lovely way to get your toddler dry which can make it seem fun too.
