Bought this because its one of the coolest looking rice cooker and from the price and brand, felt that it was probably something that would last quite a while. It cooks rice well enough although 3 cups seem to be the maximum load depending on rice type (some froth and spill more than others). I'm a rice eater and so use it 2-6 times a week. In all honesty, can't say that its far superior or at all superior to other brands. Seems about the same. I'm writing now as I'm on the lookout for a better one as this finally conked out- 1.5 years later! (the plastic underside burnt, don't know how). Will see if they can repair but not holding my breath.
