. We are revamping the school garden and the summer house is looking very dowdy so it was decided to colour it. Now I personally am not a great lover of this trend of coloured fences coloured sheds in the garden preferring natural wood, however I duly painted the summer house a Cuprinol shades.

For school a forget-me- not and a sage was chosen " those choosing the colour thought a multi coloured shed would be nice door one colour walls another"

First we cleaned the sheds by giving them a stiff brush over
I opened the tin of forget-me knot shades I was using it was a lovely sky/ egg forget me knot blue. I gave it a good stir. It was very runny I stirred with a clean stick and then dipped my paintbrush in. Yes it was runny but stayed on the brush. I painted it on to the side wall of the shed. It seemed to be covering well. I was very easy to apply. I had few if any drips. As I painted this wood treatment on it did get absorbed by the wood.
There was little or no smell to this product,
It was simple and so easy to apply it did not take very long ¼ hour to complete the side wall I was painting someone else was painting the front. I went and painted another side of the shed. Then it was time for me to go home. I quickly inspected my work. It was fair. The Cuprinol garden shades was beginning to dry I thought it would probably dry before nightfall say on the tin takes 1 hr to dry . I could see that I would probably have to put another coating on as the wood we were painting was very absorbent. I walked away from the shed and looked back. I was satisfied with what I saw; it was not garish looked well. A fair covering would look better with another coat another day.
I took the brush in and washed it in water the colour came out fairly easily. My hands were quite blue so I washed them the stain came of very easy. Next morning when we got into school we inspected our work. It was good the summer house looked attractive .It would need another coat sometime but would do for now. We took the children outside and they seemed to like the newly coloured play /summer house. S o if you want to paint a shed, your summerhouse or your fence, then yes I would recommend this.
