4 star read!! This book is told by the man himself, who has a great deal of experience in combat, on the streets, in SWAT, this man has seen it all, and it has changed him forever. Some parts of this book terrified me, shocked me and provoked a great deal of emotions throughout. The last chapter made my spine turn to ice as he relates a horror story involving a child and a utter brute of a criminal. Zach tells these tales from his heart, and his whole being is present within these pages. I found it fascinating, a real reminder of what the people who keep us safe deal with on a daily basis.
